LR9 battery for Spotmatic SP?

Will using an LR9 (1.5v) battery instead of an MX625 (1.3v) change the metering, or harm the camera? I've been using Wein Cell 625's but they aren't lasting as long as I like.

thanks

So....because the subjects are older, and not so attractive, it is different somehow, and not appropriate?

If they were all 20 year olds it would be fine?

IF you've never experienced the Milky Way with your own eyes, you owe it to yourself to do so. It's hard to do it you can't get away from city lights and find truly dark skies, but if you can, it will take your breath away. In the northwest, I go up by Mt. Rainier camping and on a moonless night, it's right there overhead in all it's glory.

I always bring a chaise lounge chair and some binoculars. I spend a lot of time laying back and taking it all in.

One of these days, I'll have to give it a try with my K-5.

I totally read that wrong! I think it's a great lens for the money.

I shouldn't be wasting money on cheap filters.

Be more specific. The 55-300mm gets pretty good reviews for it's price range. You are saying it's a lousy zoom?

All I know is, this el cheapo from Ritz is a piece of junk. Take it off, and my 300mm shots are crisp. Put it on, and they look hideous. It's got to be optically defective somehow.

That's not the issue. The issue is whether or not they should be public in the first place.

That's some silly stuff. Daisies are never meant to be private. In any way. The rest of what you said doesn't make any sense to me.

Most definitely. I think we're in for some real dirty tricks this campaign, the likes of which we've never seen. On both sides.

I think negative political ads should be outlawed, and candidate should only be allowed to talk about themselves. But we all know that isn't going to happen. It's all about the mud.

You can't wiretap without a court order. I see no difference. What people say in private communications should remain private. The fact that it is Palin has the Democrats foaming at the mouth in anticipation of something "juicy". It's rather pathetic.

I have a real problem with the whole concept of reading other peoples e-mail. Why is that hers can be "public record" but if you read your wife's e-mail and find that she is cheating on you, SHE can get YOU in trouble with the law? I don't care about any "public figure" garbage. What anyone sends in an e-mail should remain private. Period.

She'd protect our gun rights and not do sneaky little things to erode them. She'd have smoked salmon appetizers on all White House tours. She'd probably hang bear hides on the walls. Maybe even Moose heads.
