I would be interested in the publicity but I'm not sure what you guys consider an interesting story. Do you really want to hear a dramatic story full of cliche like, "I'm a poor, shy, Romanian freelance artist and wannabe contortionist girl who moved to America to follow her dreams, and is struggling to learn on her own about marketing photography and starting a gift shop business while adapting to a new place with no friends and zero guidance" ?. I don't think this will bring me the publicity I want and I'm not sure what other story I could say...:hmm:

I composed this image while hiking in Prescott, Arizona, last year. My husband and I were walking through the forest when I came across one piece of a coyote skeleton. There was no time left to take pictures as we were hurrying back to the car so we continued walking. Not far ahead I stumbled upon another piece and then another! This was enough to convince me that I needed to take one more shot before I lost the opportunity. After all, not every day I get lucky enough to find an almost full skeleton! While arranging the pieces together, I noticed my shadow over the bones and gave me this idea. I found it pretty challenging to accomplish as I had to find a good setting that would allow me to use the blitz up close without overexposing the image (even so I still needed to make a few adjustments in Photoshop), while positioning correctly over the bones. Since it was only 4pm, my shadow was too short to match the length of the skeleton so I had to stand in a difficult position to get the shot right. It doesn't align exactly but it fits with the subject I was going for :). |
