Please don't let the door hit you on the way out of my thread. This is not what most people have experienced from the A vs the K. Regardless this lens is tack sharp.

Thanks, all. Here in Japan, this is refered to as the SMCM 50/1.2 vice the SMCA 50/1.2. They do not refer to any lenes that I have seen as the SMCK 50/1.2, but I am rather new to pentax. I also have great feedback on Fredmiranda.com and eBay in case anyone was worried about my trustworthiness.

Thanks for all the accolades. I only process my own black and white. I wish I could get better scans, but I loathe scanning myself and I've had bad results in the past with scanners, mostly due to my own impatience. Fresh 800 and 1600 film is actually really decent when exposed well, with decent focus.

The OM-4 has a multispot meter which is superb. I used that on these. I have an L-308 on order.
