I just recently purchased a K1 II and for some reason Lightroom won't read my PEF files. First off I have Lightroom 3.2. I have been using Pentax K20D and a K7 camera the past several years and have been shooting PEF files which work with Lightroom. But for the K1 it won't. I can switch to DNG and there isn't a problem. Why won't it read the PEF for this camera but does so for the others?

Thank you. This is off the main highway before you get to Stanley (heading southeast) in an area called Nip and Tuck (turn north right at Elk Mountain Lodge). This photo was taken in May, so if you want the wild flowers you need to time it perfectly.

Thanks for the kind words. I submitted this photo in a black and white version and won a photo contest with it in 2012. The winner of the contest had their picture put on the cover of "Boise Weekly".

Nice captures. We had two snowys appear in Nampa (six miles from Boise) a couple of weeks ago. They hung around for a while. They could still be here for all I know.

Pickles, this is the Ashford Mills Ruins, a gold processing mill that was built in 1914 for the purpose of smelting gold from a mine five miles east of the mills location. The mill is located at the southern end of Death Valley.
