The fall color in Yosemite Valley should have past its peak on early November, but the timing is weird this year. Aspen, big-leaf-maple, dogwood and black oak were all in the early stage to change their colors when I visited Yosemite on 5th of November, 2022..
On the way out of the valley with disappointment, Valley View gave me a warm welcome with its fall color like this.

Hiking back to Glacier Point parking lot along Pohono Trail in Yosemite on the 1st day of the Memorial long weekend. It's raining and thundering in the direction of Tuolumne Meadows, the sky is turning ominous............

Agree to your point, that one available @$30 is hard to read. But to spend $70 or $90 for a ~$200 K-01 seems too much to me(Sorry for being cheap........:lol:)
So, this is what I did to make it a little bit more useful..........

Finally Framed these 2 Yosemite icons together @15mm FL with K-1. Maybe I should try 12mm FL next time to frame the reflection of El Cap in.

This is a good price for a 0.5x entry level macro lens. My copy has automatic aperture control similar to Pentax-A lens.

I have the above mentioned 3 lenses----Viv S1 M90, Tokina M90 and this Sologor 100mm macro, so I know a little bit about them.
I was in the same circumstances as of OP years ago, so I bought this Soligor and tried to find something out............
The Soligor 100mm macro is a good lens and it is way cheaper, but.........it is NOT a variant of Bokina. I was a little bit disappointed when a got this conclusion, and now I feel sorry to let you know this.
You may get good pictures with this Soligor lens, but if you have the chance to compare the pictures taken with Soligor and Bokina then you will know the differences.
My suggestion: Treat it as if it is a Bokina, and enjoy the pictures you get with it. Happy photographing!
