I know it's a little annoying but I simply can't type like this any more...:(

Maybe just a little colour....

The birds back is very bright compared to it's belly... and under the tail is very blurry as well....

Would these be a problem to someone judging the photo..?

Hello Mr Brian..

Thankyou for responding....

I have never taken a photo of a glass before and I thought there must have been an easier... and more effective... way of doing it than the way I went about it...

It took quite some time to relocate the glass around the room until I found the best possible position...

Hmmm... Maybe that's the 'Joy' of photography... Perhaps...:o

I was rather expecting a response like..:

"My Goodness Jaz... You are a dill...! Try this next time...."

Hi..

I took advice from a previous thead in this forum by using F8... Although..

The lighting seemed to bounce all over the Shot Glass and eventually this was the best I could achieve..:(

There was a blur from the etching on the side of the glass for some reason and I did have a series of faint lines running down the back of the glass.

I have included a plan of how I eventually took the photo in my theatre room.. (I had to remove everything from it as seats, pictures and screen reflected on to the glass... lol)

There has to be an easier way than that... I was going to drop a lemon slice into it although my chances of landing it into the Shot Glass from 1.5 metres away were slim...

Actually they were more like... ZERO... lol:rolleyes:

Can anyone point me in the right direction here...?

Why is film still better than digital?

You guys seem to know what you are talking about here so I wont enter into For nor Against...

Hmmm.... But...

Digital has made it easy for people to "photoshop"...

I was looking through a guys magazine a while ago and the female models in it seemed to be nothing more than 'Computer Paintings'... One of the models had an upside down nipple and another had an eyelash that joined her ear...!.. lol

There was one model who was getting rather 'friendly' with a mannequin and I couldn't tell which one was the mannequin...

I can't believe the guys actually pay for these magazines... Perhaps it really is the 'Articles' after all...;)

To me.. Digital is convenient... Unfortunately though... It has turned the 'Art of Photography' into the 'Art of Photoshop'... and models into woman that simply don't exist...

Jaz...

(Btw... I know it is not just Mens Magazines either... it was just an example...)

Thank you... Mr Norm..

Nice photo's btw...

Travelling through Canada in a Camper Van.... Oh dear... What a Dream that would be... Canadians are such nice people too.. Well the ones I have met have been...

Although.. it would have to be Summer of course... Canadian Winter would be extremely pretty I should imagine... Being from Australia... I'm just too accustom to wearing one layer of clothing... Hmmmm... perhaps two... on occasion... ;)...lol

Thank you again for such a lovely reply...

OMG..!!!

I spent 4 months reading up on the new cameras and eventually went in to a camera shop to buy one... The salesperson was heavily suggesting I should buy the Canon 40 something (whateva...) But after a while I asked to see the Pentax K20d...

I held it up and all I could say was... "Ooh la la..!. Now this... is sexy..!"

She just packed the Canon away.... lol

May be she new about the "old slogan"...
