Having a baby is a good excuse to take MORE pictures!
I wonder if the wife will let me adopt one? ;)

It was really hard for me this month. I cut it to 21 quickly. With a little more work I cut it to 11. Eliminating the last 3 was much too hard. I think this month was better than the last. This competition definitely shows me that I have a long ways to go with my photography.
Thank you to everyone that entered.

Thanks Eaglerapids I humbly except your praise. The grasshopper just presented himself on a piece of grass and said "Hey look at me" All I did was push the shutter button.
The 100/4 Macro really is one of those lenses that you find yourself reaching for over and over. Most of the time my K20D is equipped with it or the M 50/1.7. I can't get enough of the Pentax M's.

Hello Everyone,
I've had my K20D for almost a month. I am really enjoying photography again. So far I have picked up a 50mm f1.7, 135mm f3.5, and the 100mm f4 macro. I must say I love them all. What would you suggest for my prime M next lens?
Something between $50 and $200. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Well I am happy to say I am the proud owner of a M135/3.5 and I could not be happier.
I am looking forward to using this weekend if not sooner.
Thanks for the guidance Marc. Your photos greatly helped in my purchasing decision.

Congratulations guys,
I have only been a member for a very short time, and I have already found how helpful Marc can be. I have not had the pleasure of talking to JS, but now I am sure I will have that opportunity in the near future.
I visit this site almost daily and enjoy it greatly. Thank you to all of the moderators that make it happen and I would like to give a big thank you to Adam for starting the forum

Thanks guys I appreciate the input.
The details in Marc's reply were especially helpful as were the photos.
After looking at Marc's pictures and reading all of the reviews I decided to go with the
135mm f3.5. I have a FA 28-80 1:3.5-5.6 and I played with it yesterday evening to get a feel for having to shoot at 3.5. I was happy with what I learned. The anti shake on the K20D makes a huge difference in lower light situations.
Again thank you both for taking the time out of your day to help me with my decision.

Hello Everyone.
I am trying to decide between the M 135mm f3.5 and M 100mm 2.8. I want something to shoot wildlife shots and indoor concert shots. My camera is a
K20D. Does anyone out there own both of these lens and if so how do the compare to one another. Photos with each would be a plus!
Thanks for the insight.

Welcome Baggy,
I would love to see some of your cityscapes. I feel in love with Melbourne when I was there.
The Southgate area was beautiful.
I have had a photo of the lights on the river hanging over my desk for almost ten years!
