Themes for December look good to me.
In particular, Vanishing point, but I think I've been living it in November.
Here's hoping my comment participation increases as work responsibilities will dwindle.
So, I want to thank all who have commented on my images, I am obliged. :)

Hey kids! Lovely work in the first days of September.
I hope it's not too late to jump in. I will be uploading my images for the first three days by later tonight and comment as soon as possible. :)

Well I added my last 4 days of May after finally having some photography time. So, I wanted to stop by and say thanks to all for your comments and participation in the previous Daily ins.
Even though I continue to take dailies, I'm undecided if I will join the Daily in June edition because I simply don't have enough time to comment on participants' images and that always bothers me. I feel that is an important component of such a group and to be unable to do so weakens the experience. A lot of great images from all corners that I enjoy viewing.
Hopefully, my work and other things in life loosen their grip of my time to join this month but if not perhaps down the line.:)

It's been sporadic since about a week ago.

Hey kids, I am joining late.
Been a long while since my last SiC and this is my first DiC.
Real nice images from everyone in the first three days. Should be a good ride.

Hi,
Just made a positive feedback for an item purchased in the marketplace but my description is only half complete. (User error without a doubt:o)
I would like to edit it to properly reflect the transaction for the seller.
Any solution or do I have to wait 14 days like mentioned in a similar thread?
Thanks.

Cool. A lot of good comments and insights into these bodies.
Yeah, I guess there is some decision making to be made. And ultimately just get one and run with it.
Thanks for your quick responses. :)

Planning to upgrade from a K200D to a used K-3, K-3 II or a K-5 IIs, and to ultimately go the full frame route.
But for now, I am focusing on these three in large part because I can add a battery grip ( a must for my comfort).
I have been reading reviews on the trio of bodies as well as forum discussions to get a better sense of their strengths/weaknesses, features and what not. I am still undecided on which one is best for my needs. I am leaning for the K-5 IIs because of the used market price and the grip is cheaper but...
For background, I use m42 and K mount lenses about 90% of the time and do not really use AF in the remaining stable of my glass. I take mostly landscape photos, macro, nature and low light situational images. Not much of action photography unless the occasional wildlife situation arises.
The K200D has served me well and still does.I am not parting with them (I have two both purchased here on PF). I just want a technological update with a newer sensor and larger files.
So I welcome any input from current and previous users that can help steer me in the right direction.:)

I just want to begin by saying that I am humbled by all the images this month from all the participants of this Single in December 2013 challenge. Many thanks some fine work!
Gleaned much from your vision, composition. lenses, post-processing and approach during the month. Many thanks for that. I would rush from work just to see the daily pictures each of you uploaded, sometimes while letting go of valuable light for the image I had not yet taken.
This month, unlike any other Single in... Challenges was the most difficult. Between my long and heavy work schedule and the inclement weather, I felt I was pressed for time to capture an image the way I wanted but in the end this was another learning experience of a different kind.
My thanks for all the comments on my images and my apologies for not having been able to comment as often as I would have liked.
Regarding, the Helios; it still remains a strong and interesting lens in my arsenal. Love what it can produce under low light conditions. (Something I learned this month) This is a gem of a lens.
Here is wishing all of you a great 2014. Hope the right light you are looking for illuminates your photography.
See you down the road. :)
Saludos, Julio.

The idea of a best lens is hard to determine.
But I find myself linked more often than not with these cuties.
Some may not have the best IQ and other negatives but for what I like to take images of they work superbly.
I work exclusively in manual focus and prefer to use MF on the newer age lenses.
BTW, all these were purchased here on the PF marketplace. Thank you!

Lovely images already.
But I must profess that I am one of the last holy persons...:)
Got a Sunday off so maybe I will visit a place of peace and love for all, and take a few images from the inside.

Hey TenZ.NL, great job in hosting, judging and commenting. No language barrier, it all came through very well. Loved the theme concept.
Thanks for the HM.
Congrats to Neville, Charliezap and MattB123 for some fabulous images. In addition, kudos to my fellow HMers; Normhead, Brownie4u, Tessfully and Gifthorse.
And many thanks to all who entered their marvelous interpretations. Really made a long, hard week a little easier to digest.
Saludos, Julio. :)

So glad you stepped up Noel.
I hope you make this one great year.
Thanks from a frequent/infrequent participant who enjoys the weekly photo subjects.
And my thanks to Tsukiouji for the labor of love in hosting P52 this past year. Was fun to participate in a few and to view many times from afar.
Saludos, Julio.:)

Great entries already.
Here's my take. I used a K-x, a Porst Weitwinkel Auto F 28mm f2.8 at 100 ISO with an exposure of 20 seconds to manually move the blades to give a sense of motion. Ceiling fan eyes by citrusjig, on Flickr
