Number two is a great expression but the right side of his face is to deeply shadowed for a framed portait to my personal tastes. The eyes are key in portraits.

I have that lens for my K10D and it works very well on it. I also have one of the 135s. I foolishly sold the 50 with the K1000 body I had before getting the K10D last week.

I have taken the plunge to DSLR with a K10D purchased here with some Samsung lenses and a few Pentax lenses I have from a K1000 I recently sold. Can you folks recommend some good books for a newbie to DSLR? (I have a few point and shoot digitals)
