I'm fairly sure the mid-roll rewind is not stuk in the on position. when i press it, I hear the motor moving, so it seems as though the on/off function of the switch is in working order. How do I tell otherwise?
I have tried 2 different rolls of film (they are of the same brand, though) and i am not very keen on trying more than that to be honest.

No, definitely not, its still perfectly functional and only works when pressed.

Oh okay, well I haven't got any photographs as of yet. As I said I joined to ask a question about a camera which I have borrowed, and I am yet to develop the photographs.
I'm just doing a conceptual art book for grade 12 at the moment, all of the photographs are pretty much of cigarette packs and people smoking, so they are very monotonous, but perhaps I'll post up some of the better ones once developed (hopefully tomorrow!)
Thanks for the greetings.

Hey everyone,
I've got a Pentax MZ-M and every time I load it with film, it automatically rewinds the roll and it is becoming quite irritating.
Any suggestions?

Hey guys, I'm Beau, I live in Brisbane Australia, and I mainly created an account to post my Pentax MZ-M question in the Film SLR forum. Never been a member of a photography forum, so we'll see how this goes!
