just got one of these today!! white of course!!
got home to start playing with it, but after 10 mins the battery died!! RAWR!!!
so its in the charger!! i'm keen on getting to know it better. i have already managed to set up the "P" mode just the way i like it :D
I'm keen on seeing the video quality in 720P on this...
also for some reason it seams that "continuous" shooting only lasts about 4 photos? where as burst lasts about 7 or 8? maybe its my card?
Oh well! very excited to have this! should go well with the k-7 to make a nice little combo!!

it depends on the whole system.
CPU? brand, speed, Model, FSB etc
Motherboard? Brand, features, FSB etc
HDD? Size and Speed
Graphics Card? Brand, Model.
RAM? = 4GB 800mhz but what brand and model?
Powersupply?
any cooling?
OS? 32bit, 64bit?
Let us know the answers to these questions, and hopefully we can better guide you!

Here's my k7 on my bike. just using one of those "Ebay Camera Mounts", the ones that screw into your petrol tank.
Its best if you mute the video. i talk WAY TOO MUCH!!!
But at least it gives you an idea of Vibration and viewing angle.
This is a Pentax K-7 @ 720P 30FPS with DA 12-24mm @ 12mm.

i have a k7 and 12-24 combo also, i think the issue is because the lens is so wide, u actually need a subject to focus on. i.e. if u focus on a wall, it wont do it, but if u focus on maybe the corner of a table, it will.
if thats what u meant then yes it happens, and i deal with it with whats stated above.
lol i hope that made sense! i just woke up :P

i was thinking of posting something like this myself!
im located in inner-west sydney and would love to go out with other pentax users :D

i was in Melbourne, Australia when it was hailing(when crown casino's roof caved in) i was outside taking photos, with no effects to the camera or the lens. the lens was my DA 12-24. both of them took it really well, i know the 12-24 isnt WR but it held up well, and it still works fine to this day! Both shots were taken at 12mm.
P.S. it was really pissing down when these photos were taken.
