That trick dosent work on my canon 50d and mp-e 65 I have already tried it before but I will try it on my other canon lenses and see if it works on them.
Sounds interesting about your olympus om 20 macro and looking forward to see some shot with it when you fix that gadget .
Here is a shot of a flyeye with pentax q and a homemade lens and the image is around 0,2-0,3 mm wide and I did stack 3 shots to get some dof

This shot was at 1* so around 3,3:1 the problem is that you cant change the aperture on canon lenses so you have to use 2,8 all the time
with the mp-e65 if you dont make som homemade aperture adapter .

My computer dosent see it as a mass-storage device any longer it see it as a mobile Devices and its the same with my canon 50d but my k10d is a mass-storage device
and all that happend a few weeks ago probably due to an windows update do you that is the problem ?

I have the PK_Tether 0.7.0 and windows 7 64 bit and the program works with my k10d but not with k7 or pentax q
so how to make it work with k7 ?
There is no message when using k7 its just that the program seems not to find the k7 .

Hello !
Is there any way to get longer exposure than 2 sec with a "pirate" adapter ?
What on the pentax adapter is communicate with pentax q is it electrically or mechanist and is there any picture on that ?
I just want to try to use my pentax q for astrophotography and need longer exposure time and I have one pirate adapter .

Here in sweden is it possible to order it now but up to 5 weeks delivery and price around 3000skr or 440 USD and that is what I paid for the pentax q with the 8,5 mm
how much does it cost in US ?

I did try to photo with B (bulb mode) yesterday but when using my q adapter (kiwi) the longest shutter time I could get was 2 sec :-(
will the bulb mode work with pentax own adapter ?
Is pentax own adapter for sale yet ?here in sweden isn't it

Today I did try to use the flash and also my af360fgz and with the adapter on and smc-dfa 100/2,8 macro but the pentax q will not shoot faster the 1/13 when flash is in use
way is it so ?

The pentax q did take rather long exposure times so that the moon did get motion blur but next time I will choose my self and see if I can get some sharper photos
And the tripod is and celestron c8 is rather heavy and stable so I dont think it is unstable I probably need some training but with pentax k7 I did get a bit sharper image whitout any SR (see photo)
but it was the first night I try this "astrophoto" with an old (1980) celestron c8

Thanks for the tip of the power saving .
Yes the tripod on my old celstron c8 working but the moon is shaking :-) the photos dont get as sharp as I would like :-(
Its seems to be impossible to shut down the noise reduction or is it just me that cant find it ?I can just chose nr auto nr "1" nr "2"
is the NR of in raw ?

I did buy a pentax q and then installed the firmware 1.10 and now I have the option for antishake up to 9999 mm but the antishake will not work at remotecontrol or self-timer :mad:
I bought the pentax q to use it on my telescope and with the remotecontrol but it dosent work I have contacted pentax but no answer yet .
The antishake dosent work with with my pentax q 8,5/1,9 in remote control or self-timer option either .
And wy is it the lcd screen lower the light after about 7 sec and you have to press the trigger halfway to wake it up to full light ?
And the camera also shut down after few minutes if I dosent touch the trigger is there anyway to solv that ?
