As robust as the K7 is, I've had the pop up flash disengage under handling a sufficient number of times, that I have now taped it closed. Perhaps it needs a locking mechanism for those who have no need for the flash? Super Glue? :lol:

Ambidextrous, but left handed. If I err on the horizontal it is with a left to right tilt.

Yes. Love mine, use it every day for the photoblog. I've not seen one in the wild in Kentucky...yet.

The K-7 has been a delightful shooters camera in TAv, poor high ISO performance is my only complaint. The so called features are lost on me, but I would upgrade for a better sensor.

I've been pleased with the DA 35 2.8 macro as a walk around lense including closeup work. With stabilization I can hold 1/15 with un-steady hands and it's fine at 2.8.
