Well thought-out composition - very formal.

Captures the essence of photography - the pavement is your film/sensor.

I like to hang the film on slant in a seldom used shower stall attaching clips to the corners on one side only. That way the water drains toward the perforations rather than all the way down your strip of film. I use a small suction cup on the wall to get the lower anchor point just right.

I've got the V500 and a Canoscan FS4000 US which I found at thrift store in the original packing (no one knew what it was for - $10). The flatbed needs careful cleaning for dust before you scan or lots of work in PS. The Canoscan needs Vuescan to use with a MAC, but seems to be about as good as the Plusteks and Nikons I've used, plus I can run overnight if I want. I've mostly scanned B&W and run through PS for piezography prints on an Epson 220.

Has anyone gone through "From OZ to Kansas" by Vincent Versace"? Covers conversions of color to black and white. I've got it on order.

Joined years ago. Spotmatics since 1965. I have several plus an H1a that's nice to use. Currently replacing motor on ZX-5( I hope).
Most interested in black and white with scanning on Epson flatbed and CanoScan FS4000 (thrift store for $10). Printing using Jon Cone's methods and QTR. Manual focusing is great to train your eye when they're good, but not always as fast as one might need.

New here - iris pin shows that it's got a stop down...no room in lens for focus as large as 1:1.
