I currently have a Pentax A 2XL rear converter I'm trying to sell in classifieds. Does anyone know if it can be used with auto-focus lenses (retain auto-focus) ? I know it has "contacts for metering" but that's all I know. I personally don't think so, but I obviously don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks, David I.

To: my photography, I'm not sure how to tell what type of mount it is, I'm not an expert on mounts, maybe you can tell me how to determine. All I can tell you is it fits right onto my ME-SUPER body. Thanks, David I.

EsBee, Years back when I was into this I made myself a handheld "gun stock" w/pistol grip. I used an electric botton switch connected to my ME-SUPER winder. I went out on sunny days (best color anyway) and with lens at f/4.5 and 100 speed film I had excellent results on wildlife. When I used the 2-XL I of course used my tripod (Bogen) with excellent results on stationary wildlife. I had some of those photos enlarged to approx. 10X14"and are currently hanging in my house. I used "slide" film and do not own a scanner nor do I wish to pay to have them scanned right now. Thanks for the interest, David I.

Mundus, I currently do not have pictures to download for two reasons. 1) I guess I didn't feel it was necessary. 2) I do not know how to download pictures yet, (new to PC's), but my son could help me. Are you familiar with this lens? Do you need dimensions and weight? If need be I can probably supply pictures in near future. Thanks, David.

Both these items are in like new condition, I purchased them new some years back and were used by me only a small amount. They worked excellent for some wildlife photography I was into at the time but then my life took a different turn. I'm asking $535.00 + S.& I. for the 500mm and I'm asking $185.00 + S.& I. for the 2X-L. Thank- you, David I. SOLD 500mm/f4.5 LENS ONLY- PLACED NEW ADVERT FOR 2X-L
