Talk Me Out Of Jumping Ship From Pentax After 45 Years...

I would say that If you’re thinking about jumping ship after 45 years (sounds a bit extreme), that suggests you feel restrained by or uncomfortable with the Pentax brand/system. In that case, if you can afford it, why not jump ASAP? If you wait too long it means you would have less time to hone your skills using new tools that might turn out to be exactly what you’ve been looking for all these years. Truth is, as we get older, we have less time to dither and speculate about what might be or could've been. So I say go for it – or forget it!

The bird (a magpie) is the wild subject, unfortunately out of focus.

The cat, a nature lover, is just smiling and being friendly.

WPRESTO,

I suspect that's because the city's bins and streets are overflowing with discarded food – fast and otherwise.
Might not be the best/ideal diet, but the foxes don't go hungry and they could be providing a useful scavenging service.

If you hate donuts, mirror lenses work well with subjects that are isolated or against a plain background. This pigeon was just over 30 feet (9.1metres) away.

I've already got two lovely Pentax dslrs, yet I wouldn't mind another. Is that greed or what?

Note for international winners: you will have to cover the actual shipping costs.

This doesn't make much sense. We use Pentax all over the world. Why discriminate?

What a pity that so many people want to get their hands on on a Pentax k-m. Severely damages my chances.
