Totally agree with you Allison. DoF control is another aspect that FF brings to the table. And big prints are great. I still have a P67ii. I love printing large from it's negatives.

1) WIFI enabled. This would allow for wireless tethering and x-fer of files. Also, once you have WIFI on the camera it would allow you to bridge features with software and hardware companies building alliances with the likes of Apple (iPad) and Adobe that would position Pentax tightly within a superior work-flow. By enabling the and attracting pros in such a way you'd garner a lot of attention from those that buy off of perception cast from what the pro's use.
2) Shoot Video to editable codec.
3) Pro-grade Audio inputs (digital or analogue)
4) Dual Card slots & continuous record of video
5) The option to shoot (activate) only to a smaller center section of the sensor for when greater depth of field is more important than pixel count. But only as an in camera option.

As both a video professional that uses HDSLR's (specifically the Canon 5D Mkii) for footage and a the proud owner of the K-1000, K-20, and P67ii, video functionality is very important. I'm waiting for the K5 to get better at video before I buy.
1) Full control over exposure during video record on K5.
2) Record video to h.264 codec on K5.
3) 1080p at 23.976 and 29.97 on K5.

I've just begun to shoot digital after shooting with a P67ii. I have a K20D with a Nokton. I love the lens and am intrigued by the Zeiss lenses. I've alway just shot for fun, but now I have the opportunity to get some paying gigs. If I get enough, I'm getting some Zeiss lenses. Thanks for this really great thread.
