da 16-50 f2.8 for street stuff its just the perfect range and its weather resistant this stays on 90% of the time then choose a lens that fits your style go fisheye wide 10mm-24mm or go long 50mm-200mm i personaly love wide with all the distortions ;]

i run both the k5 and a 7d i still prefer the k5 the iso range and dynamic range for still's and the 7d for video's

i still use both systems but i still love the pentax system if your using it in rough weather the cannon 7d stays packed away and the k5 pentax gets drenched and if it gets dirty i can run it to the sink and rinse it off something i would not do even with L glass with the cannon.

the k5 is a great system but 7d still has better video so i have to have both and its kind of nice to have the choice of system but im torn the pentax wins out for me in the end its just built very well the seals on the canon look like sponge to me and i just cant trust them in the rain esp. the cf slot

the same thing happend to me check craig list in that area it took two days of searching but i found the guy who stole my stuff he went to jail but i lost out becuase he sold most of my stuff before i found him ;[

i didnt go full frame but bought a 7d for low light and manual movie mode 1080 24p and 720 60p but i still love shooting my k7 and now i miss my k20 which i sold that darn cannon ;[

love the pextex colors and how fast it can change setting if the light changes (via the green botton) and lens are my faves i have a cannon 7d and it still seems boring for me and feels ackward at times and even if it performs better in higher iso's the pics too me seem to have no soul almost plastic;[ but the cannon movie mode is the best pentax need to work on that the need 1080 @ 24p not that 1290 crap;[ and my pentax k7 just took a dump on me thank god its still under wr protection i miss that thing ;[

the video mode is set up more for pal we need 1080 24p for that flim like look ;[ 25p makes editing a chore

love this lens ;] the colors are very nice it shoots a little dark fully opened for a 2.8 compared to a 16-50 da pentax the tokina is all metal and does not expand when change focal lenghts

the af focus ajustment will work on the k7andk20 you can use the global or for one lens being used at that time i had to it on a 24-60 sigma f/2.8 worked fine

one of the biggest problems(in sd Ca. us)is that pextax have no reps (for support)nor any promotions for sellers and shops too sell pentax so most shops have dropped them as a line.
Its not a good sign;[

see if you can get it recalibrated or custom set it thru the af ajustment menu

try using the pc sync to the transmiter and also check if you have your on camera flash set to normal if its on wireless you will get a delay because of the pre flash

take 1000 photos a day play with everthing on the camera learn the rules then break all of them then go back to the rules most of all just have fun ;]

bought a set about two months ago for 25 bucks they last about 85-90% of the orginal li90 but if you have the grip you can take at least 1500 shots no prob

bit of bad news they hit me again this time my lights and soft boxes two lens and the stuff
i recovered from the kid ;[
i will never leave anything in my car again and i am investing on a 24-7 video system for the house

bitter sweet still missing a bunch of stuff
a young man named alex in san diego was selling my stuff
the cops took him away after i identified my items i was lucky i took some macro test shots of my equipment and it matched
so if anyone this fourm bought any af 360 flashes 50mm 2.8 macro or a pentax 10mm-17mm fisheye lennsbaby 2.0
contact detective jr bravo at imperial beach sherif dept san diego to help with the case or please contact me here to arrange the recovery of my stuff i will riemburse your payment any info will help keep this perp in jail or teach him a harsh lesson
