Package just arrived from hongkong and i found small update on the nikon model
modification is still required to make it work properly in pentax system
(which is documented earlier on the thread)

however on the da*300 box from 2011 it says "sealed" instead.

atleast in lightroom it's possible, so quick search in google gives link to adobe help.
Copy and paste Camera Raw settings
In Adobe Bridge, you can copy and paste the Camera Raw settings from one image file to another.
1. In Adobe Bridge, select a file and choose Edit > Develop Settings > Copy Camera Raw Settings.
2. Select one or more files and choose Edit > Develop Settings > Paste Camera Raw Settings.
You can also right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) image files to copy and paste using the context menu.
3. In the Paste Camera Raw Settings dialog box, choose which settings to apply.

check lens and body electric contacts
and clean them with soft cloth if they look dirty.
try fresh batteries,
my k-m behaves similar way with bad batteries.

DA*300 arrived earlier this week, perfect timing to
test my setup at this years first motocross event here today.
hard to choose only few from so many good ones.

Have to say the river shootout in photos 7 and 9 was
probably most ultimate freezing experience my k2000 went trough.
was nice in begin but tripod legs freezed stuck in instant
not to mention the DAL 18-55 as it started to look really bad in the end.
here's one more from same trip,
K2000 and DFA 100 WR @ F2.8, 1/800s, iso-800, some PP towards details.

i would say something wrong in lens coating.
maybe add more images from same light source in different edge to compare.
other ways theres no way telling if this is just normal flare.

if the spot had more room to move would make it much much easier.
this one taken laying on snow and just point camera to right direction.
not satisfied with this one at all actually.

and closer look to bridge.

I'm using Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 in win7 and it works nicely for all my needs.
as for winxp, it doesn't have the proper codec so editing comes out as huge colored pixels.
and few trial version mjpeg codecs work in preview but not after encoding.
better off test these programs in your operating system before purchase.

black pictures, relevant to my K2k.
When i bought my K2000 around september 2009,
all the camera functions worked correctly just that it didn't produce anything but black..
so i returned it to local store where i bought it and they send it for replacement.
Got whole new body in few days and they told me:
"it turned out one of the processors was missing from the body."
did sound very weird to me but who knows.

Checked this spot in different conditions and framings,
so i think the last one cuts most of distracting things out or maybe it's just the steam.
What do you think i should try to do otherwise, if anything?

i think the first shot would need slightly warmer tone
