Wireless password for the Pentax-K1?

This is all OK but I can't work out how to get the camera to connect with the wireless access point (TP Link TL-WA801ND).
The TP link device does not have a password and my android phone connects to it as soon as it is turned on.
How does the camera connect to it?
Image Sync reports "connection failed". It does not ask for ssid or password for the camera, just for the TP link, which does not have one.

OK, got it.
I just click on Pentax wifi device.

To take superb macro images (on the cheap) of small insects, flowers etc just attach a Raynox DCR-250 2.5x Super Macro Conversion Lens to the front of your 18-55mm basic lens. With this setup you get much more depth of field than with a macro lens. Zoom back a bit from 55mm and get even more depth of field.

K-5 White Balance problems

I shoot raw and it is just a pain to have to adjust every image. Just another step - I have hundreds of images each day to edit. With the K7 I ended up setting the WB at 5200 when using the flash and I will probably do this with the K5. At least it is very easy to change the wb with Pentax.

K-5 White Balance problems

I have had the K-5 for a couple of weeks now. I mostly take botanical macro shots either using the inbuilt flash or a AF-360fgz external one. I have found the white balance is not consistent. The default setting is 'when using flash white balance is set to flash' I have tried all three options for flash white balance and mostly find the images have a red cast. I suspect it is worse since I upgraded the firmware. In the beginning most flash shots shows a white balance of 5100, they now mostly are 6200. Most photographs are made in very low light in rainforest. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Lightroom and Photoshop for K-5 .PEF files?

Thanks Wheatfield, I upgraded and made a very very interesting discovery. Before I upgraded I thought I would try shooting in PEF, converting them to TIFS (16 bit) (with the Pentax software) and then editing them in Lightroom. I found that the TIF files were far superior to the DNG files. When I upgraded and could read PEFs I compared them again and STILL the TIF file is considerably superior to the PEF files. I can only conclude from this that Adobe has not got it right with the Pentax PEFs for the K5. I will be sticking to the TIF method!

I have just got my K5 and Adobe Lightroom supports the DNG files it creates. The results are extremely good and I am happy with this till PEF support arrives.

The K-7 makes me want to shoot JPEG

My experience with the K7 is that it has the worst jpg images of any camera that I have ever owned, and I have owned quite a lot - Nikon, Canon and Pentax. You would have to be mad to use jpg when the noise level is so high and the raw images are almost the same size as full size jpgs.
Adobe Light Room will give spectacular results (far superior compared to the Pentax software). It is based on the previously worlds best raw editing software "Raw Shooter Pro" which Adobe took over and shut down.
