I didn't know that either. Really, landscape photography requires a long slow shutter speed. What is true for this competition. But there is another direction of this technique of shooting at shorter shutter speeds. And it will be another competition :)
This is one of the famous representatives of "another" trend.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-exposure_photograph

"While there is no fixed definition of what constitutes "long", the intent is to create a photo that somehow shows the effect of passing time, be it smoother waters or light trails. A 30-minute photo of a static object and surrounding cannot be distinguished from a short exposure; hence, the inclusion of motion is the main factor to add intrigue to long exposure photos."

The fight has reached a new level. This is a tough competition for many Pentaxians. My first Pentax K200D with SR helped me get rid of my tripod. 1/4s + ISO 80 can add variety to a photo walk. I found in the archive only 0.8 s. To increase the number of participants, you can change the shutter speed to 0.5 seconds, but handheld.

Thank you for not refusing to ease my fate. Now I live in a picturesque countryside. You can use theme with tags: pastoralis, pastorale, campagne, ranch, farm, shepherdess, cowboy.
Autumn fog, fog in the mountains is also an interesting topic.

Hello everybody, thank you very much for your comments, I am very glad you liked my picture. I would like to be a juge for the next challenge but I am not an Englishspeaking guy and I can not express myself clair enough in English . It makes me feel uncomfortable. I am afraid I will not be able to make clear comments about the pictures of the participants. (this is my daughter who wrote this text). So I propose Vaskebjorn who took the second place to launch the next challenge.

Col d'Aubisque - Pentax User Photo Gallery
Merci.Col d'Aubisque. A mythical stage of the Tour de France, the pass is a must for cyclists. Located between the Col de Marie Blanc and the Col du Soulor, it is the crossing point for the New Aquitaine and Occitanie regions.

Merci. I lived alone in Kharkov. My house is 35 km from the border with Russia. I was sure of the inevitability of war. A week later, after the start of rocket attacks, I left by train. And another week later I cross Europe and reunited with my French grandchildren.

I visited the Pyrenees National Park on July 16, 2019. At the end of the route, I changed the heavy SMC Pentax-DA 12-24mm F4 lens to a small SMC Pentax-DA 21mm F3.2. I didn't expect him to be able to see that far. And this shot was the best. Photo editing is not my favorite pastime. The Pentax system allows you to get good results right away and surprise with the effect of presence from the resulting image.
