Thanks Joshua, I appreciate it.
The last one came about by accident. I was shooting the trail of a walking track next to the tree and needed a bit of foreground interest, I noticed the nice knot in the tree and the interesting branches and composed with those and the track in it from a further out distance, but when I looked through the viewfinder I noticed the tree and the branches were a shot on their own so I moved my tripod up underneath the branches and got in nice and close to the tree and shot that instead.

Thanks for your kind words :)

Thanks Jim, I appreciate the comments. I did have trouble keeping the main foreground rocks exposed correctly without blowing out the sky. A couple of ND filters did the trick there. :)

Many thanks Wildman, that's very encouraging to hear. I'm very much looking forward to using the 10-20mm. With almost every landscape and scenic shot I've taken with the K20d, I've always felt I need to fit in just that extra bit more of foreground interest or sky etc.

Thanks harpee, very kind.

I used two ND filters and an aperture of f.22, which aloud me to get an exposure of around 1 to 2 seconds. Just enough to provide movement, but not too much to lose the feeling of the waves. The waves were coming in quite fast and there was a lot of oxygen in the water which also helped create that cotton look.

I would love to shoot it again in the evening with a 2 minute exposure to flatten the water right out and have the rocks protruding the surface like jagged teeth.

I'd love to get some feedback on my new shots from my recent trips to Rocky Cape and Hollybank Forest.

We were in the middle of a storm while at Rocky Cape and this was definitely the most challenging conditions I've shot in. But very enjoyable as well, learning how to fit in to the conditions instead of fighting against them.
I was really impressed with how the K20D stood up in the rain, even though the lens isn't weatherproof. at one stage I just got my composition how I liked it and the rain started to fall again, I didn't want to move my setup under cover of a nearby overhang, so I stuck my hat on top of the camera and kept shooting.

These were all taken with the sigma 18-55mm kit lens, which was probably the most challenging part when framing the images, I'm currently saving my pennies for the 10-20mm for my landscape and nature shot.

Any tips, criticism, advice and general feedback on these would be greatly appreciated.

I took these shots on a recent trip to Liffey Falls in Tasmania, Australia. I live about 45 minutes from this beautiful area. I would really love to get some feedback on these as I'm thinking of publishing a photo book of the area (not just the falls themselves) and would appreciate any thoughts, good or bad.
