On offer at amazon.co.uk at GBP 128.54. Probably not the HD version, but one heck of a bargain.

Just looking at the Pentax UK website, and the availability has changed from "Available March 26th" to "Shipped as soon as in stock"
That says delay to me.

one feature of the site is the ability to register all of your equipment so you have the details in one place. Listing serial numbers is something I've been meaning to do for some time and this was an opportunity.
But.. and it's a big but, the only lenses and equipment you can register are those currently for sale - so despite the claims around backward compatibility of lenses, the website has a very small list of Pentax equipment you can claim to own.

An update - sent the lens to Asahi Photo in London for repair - they're normally reliable and have done some good work for me in the past.
4 months down the line, they're still waiting for a part from Pentax in Japan - not good at all.

I have a real world dilemma over this.
I have a 645N film body that gets far too little use and a bunch of lenses (35, 45, 55, 75, 120 Macro, 150 & 200), mostly AF that are crying out to be used.
If I lived off nothing for 6 months, I could just about run to a 645D or I could spend an awful lot less and get a mythical FF body that would probably get more use than the 645D due to greater portability.
On the other hand, if I sold my 645 lenses and body on eBay, I'd get less than what I paid for them (All bought from eBay apart from the 120 AF Macro that was an absolute bargain).
The other advantage of both the new 645D and the mythical FF beast is that my wide angle lenses would be wide again. I really love the 645 35mm and my 20mm A lens and it would be great to have them operating at the FOV that I am used to.

There's a shop in Jackson (can't remember the name but just along from the Million Dollar Bar) that had an awesome collection of Pentax stuff when i was there last year.

Went out last week to a fish market in Manila for dinner, with K01 and 21mm.
Initially all was working well but then the lens stopped focussing.
I thought it was due to lack of light and blamed the K01 bit when I got back to the hotel, the lens felt loose and then the front of the lens with all the optics in it came unscrewed from the rear with mount and some electronics.
Although it was fascinating to see inside, I suspect it'll be quite theft repair bill when I take it to the UK distributor when I get back home.
This is a first for me - anyone else have lenses separating?

Hello from Scotland.
I have been shooting Pentax since 1982 which dates me somewhat and have an embarrassing amount of kit that I've accumulated over the years.
The most recent and treasured acquistion is the K7 which I love as much as my LX, and thats saying something.
