Hi and "Season's Greetings" to you all.
I hope someone can help me with this. I recently got my first DSLR (Pentax K20D) and I still have some prime senses from my film days. When I use these (in manual mode) on my K20 it asks me to put-in the focal length. This will sound stupid, but do I put in the FL (say 50mm as on the lens, or do put in the multiplied (1.5x =75mm) as the sensor will see it?
The manual doesn't explain.
Thanks and cheers for now.

Hi,
Do you still have the lens for sale? If so, is it in good condition, glass & functions etc?
Thanks,

Thanks for that, Lithos.
I just remember that I read somewhere that one can do serious damage by conecting the wrong flash. I din't know that the X-sync is protected.
I live in Queanbeyan next door to Canberra.
Cheers!

Hi. I've just joint the forum and this is my first post. After having recently perchased my first digital camera (K20D) after many years of great photography fun with my old Nikon F and Mamiya medium format TLR cameras. Now I'm on a long learning curve in the digital photography age.
I need some help as I would like to use my very old Hanimax Pro 550 flash gun with my new Penax K20D. I am worried that I may do serious damage using this flash with the K20, using the X-Sync socket, electrically speaking.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!
