what he just said. Great model. I think with her you should definitely crop close, she has very nice tattoos and her skin color is very even. Backgrounds are over rated.

Edge chromatic aberration

It seems the tamron 70-300 has more of a problem with chromatic aberration. I cant shoot water or anything that highlights in a sunny day or bright light. Im not sure if its the lense or the camera. Its seems i get some aberration with the kit lense with the k10d but the tamron is more pronounced. The picture below was taken on a sunny day at the zoo using the tamron at 133mm f/5.6 iso100 shutter 1/200. Will some kind of filter help or a setting in the camera or is it just the lense?

Just got this Tripod from ebay for $112 Dollars with shippment. Since its a PRO model it is really heavy. But feels perfect for my k10d with battery grip and 300mm zoom. The Tripod is ROCK SOLID AND it expands very tall 6.5. I have seen alot of tripods at the B&H store here in NY and i have to say this tripod would had cost about 300 bucks. I will post some detail pics once i get better lighting.

First trip to Yankee stadium with the k10d and the Tamron 70-300.
The batter is Jonny Damon on the saturday late game. This was is a handheld shot at full focal length of 300mm at iso400, F5/6, 1/90sec. changed color to a light sepia using adobe light room. Made the mistake of shooting jpeg instead of Raw. Only noticed after i had shot about 200 images. Another mistake was not paying more for a faster lense(wife would had killed me).
