when in aperture mode, my shutter speed never seems to exceed 1/30 or 1/40, does this problem still exist when you are outdoors?
Thanks!

Hey all, I am wondering how the 360FGZ performs in day light environment as a fill-flash. In that case, do you use PTTL or just Auto? what's the correct setting that the camera should be in? (i was thinking using Shutter priority with an exposure compensation of -1/3 or 2/3 and then put the flash on full power, havn't had any time to experiment tho)
Thanks!

get the k-x.. u won't regret it. I have handled my friend's 500D and everytime I play with it I'm greatful for getting the k-x.
Only benefit of 500D over K-X is the better LCD, everything else is inferior, it feels very cheap and plasticy in my opinion.
HOWEVER, if you are looking into upgrading for the future, then buying into Canon guarantees you wide availability of accesories like flash, 3rd party lenses and other accesories. That's something to think about..

I have three very lightly used lenses for sale because I have bought a DA* 16-50mm 2.8, they are cheap, excellent in quality, and great to get you started on a pentax system.:D M 50mm f/1.7 , SOLD to rieux, Thanks! bought off from a forum member a few months ago, The images taken by this lens is simply stunning. All metal construction, very very good quality feel in hand. No dusts, no scratches, no fungus inside the lens, very smooth focus ring. This is my de-facto lens on the body before I got the F 50mm 1.7. M 28mm f/2.8, SOLD to duch, Thanks! same as above, bought off from a forum member, I would rate the lens as excellent, no dusts, fungus inside. Comes with a generic lens cap. Only selling because this zoom range is covered by my DA* 16-50mm. DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, standard lens that comes with my k-x kit, gets the job done, hardly used (50 clicks on this lens at most), Only selling because I have a DA* 16-50mm now. The lens comes with a 3rd party lens hood that screw onto the filter thread. Price reduced to $40 dollars shipped. More Photos of the Lenses Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

Hey all, I have the pentax K-X and have recently purchased a 360FGZ flash.
To my understanding, I can do wireless flash without any flash trigger using the pre-built flash, is this any different from using the flash triggers such as the ones from cactus?
Thanks!

if you ar eusing kit lens... was the lens put on correctly? did you hear it snap into place? If you are using a manual lens, ensure that the aperture "F---" number is not flashing (aka config the aperture ring option).
Now, when you try to take a picture half pressing the shutter button, does the lens motor move at all in trying to focus??
You need to provide more details...

unless the new purchase comes with warranty and with the option for extended warranty where SDM failure has raised quite a stir in this community..
I hav nothing against the pricing of the lens, just giving ideas for the original poster.

FA31 can always be cropped down to 43mm.. same can't be said for 43mm.... my Canon shooter friend picked up a 24mm 1.4L with that reasoning, his cropped down photos look just as amazing...

first off.. i think you posted in the wrong forum... but anyway, I think what you meant is have the LCD off unless you are in playback mode.... When you are in capture mode, press the info button twice turns off the LCD screen... and go into settings and disable instant review to make it always turn off when you are shooting...
