A magnificent lens and a pleasure to use. even in digital and this is the cheapest and best way to reach that 85mm equivalent on a APS C sensor.
I have my copy and it's only fault is I am not good enough.
Bumping this up. All the best with the sale.

180 50mms!!!!!! That is indeed a lot
I have a M 50mm 1.4. At 2.8 onwards it is as good as the FA 50/1.7. In the last set i posted, the 50 1.7 was at f2.8 and larger. I have a takumar 55mm 1.8 which is pretty good but my single coated CZ Pancolar 50mm is very sharp and has a lovely bokeh too. Have a A 50mm f2 but it does not see much use.

Been lurking here for days and absolutely amazed by the output of these Soviet/ Russian lenses, not to mention, the depth of knowledge and exceptional skill of all posters. It has been a learning experience.
Picked up my first Soviet Lens. a Tair 11A (135mm f2.8), Beautifully built and with good good cosmetics. a few specks of fungus, which should not be too hard to get cleaned. Focus ring a tad tight for my taste, but will send this to my favourite technician here in Kolkata soon. For 35 USD equivalent...how bad can it be?
By the time I reached home, it was already dark. Was fiddling with it on the Kx. Just a test shot.BTW my first pre-set lens and thanks to you club members, I think I managed to get the hang of it.
Even wide open, this appears sharp...
Look forward to using it in proper daylight.
This was 1/15 sec, f2.8, ISO 400 handheld on Pentax Kx

I love 50mms. Even on digital cropped sensors, I find them superb things to use.

My first lens was this and it came on my Cosina CT1 Super.
A Horrid plasticky lens, that never worked the way and when I wanted it to. Many atime, I had to get the aperture ring coupled to the blades!!!
Hung on to it for reasons sentimental. Shot with it today. Low contrast and soft wideopen, it does sharpen up and improve when stopped down. But it has a bokeh, which to my eyes is good- very, very good.
