I use the LX3 as a compact carry-anywhere camera as well... if you don't miss the tele end then it is a great option ...

Typically when you sell an item in the marketplace or elsewhere, the standard protocol seems to be pretty well established... the buyer makes a payment, the seller receives the payment, and then ships the item to the buyer...
How does a 'trade' work out then? Are there any standard 'trade' practices that you tend to follow?
This question came up when I recently had an option to 'trade' a lens, rather than sell it... and the question was on how to secure the trade... and other than a face to face exchange... I couldn't think of much... how do you secure a trade?

(1) did you change the location of the file? (2) or perhaps, rename the file or the folder it was in? (3) or, it was on removable storage (external HDD / USB stick / memory card) and not on the hard disk?

K200D is simply a great camera ... and I was glad I started with it ... just raises the bar for future upgrades though given the feature set it has ... hope you have a lot of fun with it !

I used the Pentax 18-250 which is a Tamron re-badge ... and really liked it ... it is extremely convenient and probably the best walk-around lens if you can find one ... it has it's limitations specially when totally zoomed out ... but for non-serious shooting it seems to get the job done ... you should look at the MarketPlace section on this forum for potential sellers ... I can see one listed as of 10th July ...

another +1 for the 18-250 ... while not optically better than more specific zooms ... it is light weight and versatile, with decent results ... and possibly the most convenient lens for holidays when you just want to carry a lens and body ...

Yup, depending on settings, if you just pressed the RAW button, then only the next shot would be RAW ... for a more permanent setting, you need to go to the menus and set RAW or RAW+JPEG in there ... this may explain why only one RAW image was found ...
