There is a possibility that the sensor on my K-7 will need replacing as there are marks on there that have not been removed even with Dust Removal and the assistance of an Arctic Butterfly brush.
If this is not covered by warranty does anyone have any idea as to how much Pentax would charge me for a new sensor?

Especially at an event such as this where you get all kinds of airshow clutter in the background.
However I do like the fact that I caught the Red Arrows under the Port wing amongst the heat haze and the spray.

A cracking set of images there :)
Number 6 is my favourite with the red of the aircraft against the blue sky and so sharp as well...excellent! :)

Thanks for your comments :)
I should have added perhaps that this is a small JPEG file due to the fact that that the actual image is fairly large and I've included the watermark so that it cannot be copied :)
Someone did say on another forum about the RNZAF on the left of the picture being a distraction...:(
Having looked at the actual print itself it is a bit sharper and doesn't have the greenish hue to it.

Taken at this year's Royal International Air Tattoo, this was the first year that this iconic aircraft had displayed at the show since it had been restored to flying condition after the RAF had handed it over to a private owner.
I am producing these as 18x12 inch prints and if anyone is interested then get in touch. They are £20 including P&P and the proceeds will go towards the Vulcan To The Sky Trust to enable it to fly again next year. I will post overseas as well.
C&C welcome about the image.
Thanks

I have used a K20D and recently a K-7 in the rain at airshows here in the UK and have suffered no problems at all with the weather sealing so I am confident that they work.
In fact at the last show I was at we had a bit of a downpour and I was surrounded by other camera owners who swiftly put theirs undercover and stared at me probably wondering why I wasn't that concerned!
That was a K-7 by the way and there have been no problems.

Hi All,
I've been lurking for a while but have now decided to join :)
I'm a member of another Pentax forum and have found that really useful so hopefully this one will be as well!
Using a K-7 and a K20d with an assortment of lenses at the moment...probably too many but never mind. I'm into aviation photography mainly but also some landscape as well when there's no airshows on!
