Hey all, So i received my k-x on friday. It works wonderfully with the included lithium batteries however it barely works with my jwin rechargeable nimh's. I was just wondering if anyone else from this amazon batch was having any troubles. I ordered some eneloops because i heard they usually work well with the k-x.. so I'll update later.
Also:
I would like to add that I LOVE my k-x. It takes amazing photographs and both lenses are phenomenal. I'm very happy with ordering this kit.. I'm just hoping I can use rechargeable batteries with it as well. However, I'm glad it does indeed work with lithium batteries. If anything I'll just stock up on them.

indeed.. not helpful at all. I asked them to give me a date.. so maybe it's possible they just gave me a date that's far off so for sure I'd have it by then?
However... I do wonder if other places would sell theirs at the $750 price to take the customers away from amazon?

sorry.. they upgraded me to 2 day shipping.. however it's still january 4th.. sooooo I don't see the great upgrade.

I ordered mine October 27th... so maybe they'll release it in December but won't get through everyone until January? It's weird to think a day could make a whole month difference. I received my email today as well.
I hope they get a shipment in sooner.. however I'm going to wait it out and in the meantime see if some other company puts it on sale.

I ordered mine the last week of october and I'm too antsy to wait this long. I'd like to at least know when they think they'll get an order in you know?
However, I did see that Best Buy now has this kit for $799 on their website now.
PENTAX - K-X 12.4-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black - 15801
It's tempting to cancel my amazon order and order from Best Buy since they have it in stock.
