I also got 50/1.4 couple days ago and I must say I'm really glad with how it's working. Love the indoor shot's as I take photos for a Youth Cultural Center we have nearby, here in Slovenia. Concerts, people and so on, I already love it and I have it for so little time.
Three samples if anyone's interested:
1100ISO, 1/30s, 1.4
1100ISO, 1/15s, 1.4
1600ISO, 1/30s, 1.4
Now the light at the last one was really at absolute zero. It was outside and there was just one light quite far away. I love it :)

Really funny thing that happened to me with this remote assistant. It was in the middle of the night and I just updated my firmware and downloaded this thing too. Of course I ran it right away, just playing around with settings a little. Then I apparently pressed the shoot button in the program, more or less by accident and almost dropped the camera that I was holding in my hands, because the sound was so loud - middle of the night - that it scared the shit out of me, lol :> |

Hey, I'm new here so pardon my ignorance.
I have bought meself a K10D and I'm looking into option of buying couple of fixed lenses from the old Pentax ME. One of them is also 55mm 1.8 you lads are talking about here and I'm wondering if I'll have to buy an adapter or sth like that so that it will fit right on the camera? Are there any other problems with these lenses? What kind of program will I have to use on my Pentax? Fully manual?
Any help will be highly appreciated as I don't want to f*ck myself with buying something that wont work correctly on my camera. THANKs A LOT!
