I have a highly regarded Canon S80 that has the optical viewfinder as well as the LCD. All the controls that a DSLR has as well as point and shoot. 2 Batteries and charger.
Do some research on this. Would take $100 PayPal accepted and would ship to Canada.

The Canon G12 has the optical view finder and the G15 does not.
G12 is an outstanding camera for the amateur or the professional and is less than $400 brand new. Made in Japan.

I bought that from Target and it is a big improvement of X3.
Comes with the user guide that you do not get from the download.
Big saving over Corel's $79 and $59 upgrade.
Highly regarded program and quite easy to master. |

Pristine Black Pentax LX 35mm Camera with Extras Camera is in excellent plus condition. No brassing, no scratches or signs of much wear.
New light seals have recently been installed.
No sticky mirror. Batteries installed for the meter.
No corrosion in the battery compartment
Probably the best 35mm Pentax camera of all. Can be considered a classic.
From a non smoking environment. The only negligible flaw that I could discover was the battery compartment cover. It needs a piece of tape to keep it closed.
The only time the cover is opened is when the batteries need changing and they last a very long time. Possibly an easy fix. As this is not a new camera, no warranty and is being sold "as is" Camera comes with the following:- LX Camera Body
- 50mm f1.7 Pentax SMC Lens
- Pentax Leather Ever Ready Case
- Pentax FT200 Flash with Case (takes 4 AA batteries)
- 49mm Skylight 1A filter
- 49mm Polarizer
- Body Caps for the front and the top
- Pentax Diopter Tool
- Pentax Soft Camera Pouch
- Instruction Manual for Pentax LX (English)
- Instruction Manual for Pentax AF 200T Flash
Pentax LX pictures by tuttlejr - Photobucket Only $350 shipped Conus. Add 3.5% if using PayPal.
Other areas inquire for shipping fees.
Check KEH for this camera and see what they are asking just for the body. $400-$500 plus.

Another suggestion would be to use GOOP which does a good job for many problems. A really great adhesive that can also take shock as it always remains pliable but strong. |

John Hedgecoe's Complete Guide to Photography A step-by-step course from the world's best-selling photographer.
Over 200 pages crammed full of information and many photographs. Book is in like new condition. Even a photo pro can gain something from the contents.
All the photo illustrations are superb!
Here is the text from the book's introduction:
Photography is about making informed choices; there is no one way to take a picture. Almost any picture as it is first seen, whether it is a landscape view, group of people, still-life or historic monument could perhaps be improved upon by investigating a different camera position, a more suitable aperture or shutter speed combination, or a different choice of lens. But above and beyond these considerations, it is the quality of the light illuminating the subject — affected by the time of day and even the time of year —that has the potential to make an ordinary shot exceptional. Get the lighting right, and you are on to a winner.
The word 'photography' means drawing with light, and as you might appreciate the ability of a painter to communicate the atmosphere of a scene, no matter what the subject matter, so it is with photography. Many enduring, masterly photographs are not the result of chance. Certainly it is a matter of being in the right place at the right time, but in order to have captured that special moment, the photographer may have visited that spot at different times of day on many, many occasions over a period of days or even weeks, waiting for the light to enrich the scene.
The age of 'point-and shoot' photography has well and truly arrived, with the advent of the high-quality compact digital camera. This provides a range of sophisticated exposure options, automatic film transport and focusing, and often a very extensive zoom range and built-in flash. At the same time the single lens reflex camera, offering many of the automated features of the compact, but with the undoubted advantage of being able to accept a range of lenses from ultra-wideangle to super-telephoto, is becoming even more affordable. So, the photographic medium is now freely available, but being able to produce a well-exposed, correctly focused image does not in itself make for good photography.
With photography it is not learning how the camera works, important as that is, that is paramount; it is learning to see and understand rather than simply looking. The best way to develop this ability is by adopting a firm, thematic approach. With this objective in mind, the bulk of this book is devoted to project work, with set assignments and goals to be achieved. All of the important camera controls and accessories, what they do and how they affect the final image, are comprehensively explained and illustrated.
Above all, photography is a fun activity. It is about recording memories and communicating your ideas and thoughts, and is unique in its ability to freeze forever a single instant of time. It is this, perhaps, that accounts for its universal appeal. A trick of the light Even in the least promising of situations, you need to have the camera ready. One picture in this book was taken above the Arctic Circle in Norway. The weather had been overcast for the best part of the day. Just for a minute or two, however, the clouds parted to allow a flood of daylight to wash over a group of cottages clinging to the rocky foreshore. See the picture below The buyer will be thrilled and delighted with this book. The price is only $15.00 shipped Conus only. Can take PayPal but add 5% to cover their fees. |

The Master Guide to Photography by Michael Langford
This is the most comprehensive, authoritative, and ingeniously arranged all-round guide to photography and photographic expertise ever published. In more than 400,000 words of text and 1,500 pictures (the bulk of them in color), it presents a complete illustrated survey of:
• Basic photographic techniques (plus information on how to use them, both generally and in special cases), equipment guidelines, and trouble-shooting
• Classical and contemporary photographic composition, including detailed guidance on _the dynamics of picture construction
• Professional techniques for specialized photo. graphic areas, from medical and forensic
photography to advertising, sports, theatrical,
and news photography
• Processing and printing theory and practice, plus darkroom techniques for special visual effects
• The history of photographic style, including analyses of the greatest work of more than two dozen master photographers from the beginning to the present day
• Presenting, mounting, and storing photographs
Semi-encyclopedic in structure and carefully cross-referenced, The Master Guide to Photography has been designed for maximum usefulness by amateur and professional alike—as a ready source of specific information, as a creative stimulus or idea bank, as a book to be read and pored over. Color photography for once receives fully adequate—and beautiful—coverage, while dozens of diagrams and tables clearly summarize all the technical data any photographer may have occasion to need, from a color-toning formula to processing sequences. Produced by Dorling Kindersley Ltd. and the editorial team responsible for The Photographer's Handbook, The Bookof Photography, The Step by-Step Guide to Photography, and other volumes, The Master Guide exceeds even the high standards attained in those best-selling photographic how-to books.
In short, there has never been a guide to photography as thorough, detailed, up to date. and expert as this one. It fully deserves its name.
It does not matter if you shoot digital or film, this book has a wealth of information. Very good condition but the dust jacket is a bit frayed.
$15.00 shipped Conus only. Can take PayPal but add 4% to cover their fees.
