it depends on the picture size. if you print 60cm up (long side) you'll see the difference...
I think 67 still will be better a little bit. but the most advantage of D that you do not need scanning and film
I'm going to buy 35, 105 and 120macro and 645N while they are still at reasonable price, and 645D will join them in a couple of years...

nikon d700 is almost a top level pro cam with ff - under $2500. why couldn't pentax do the same?
I think FF camera will be $300-400 more expencive that the same level crop in some years...

i c.
the problem is - I have nikon and pentax, and would like to try 10mm fix and 10-17 zoom on each system.
for nikon there are 3 lenses: 10.5mm nikon, 10mm sigma and 10-17 tokina
for pentax - just 2

KX will be 2 stops better than k10 on high iso - so you can go to 1600-3200 easily.
but for serious bird-hunting I would change the system for Nikon or Canon

it's not the same sensor. K-x is better than D90 at high ISO. D90 has better AF

if iso 800 is enough - I vote for k7.
but I've chosen k-X as I use 3200 often (I do not like flash.
I think k7 is overpriced it has to be just 200 bucks more expensive than kX or 200 cheaper than it is now...

jpeg has adjustable compression level, so it can be 10 times smaller than compressed RAW. so RAW+ takes only 10% more space than RAW

as far as i know EoS has very close working gap with canon - so it makes almost impossible to make correct adapter for FF with PK lenses - ONLY for crop. that's why I'm asking - if it's theoretically possible.

I've seen it on our photomarket today (in China). Do you think it'll keep the infinity for pentax lenses while being used on canon bodies?

DP1 and 21 on pentax have about the same angle (28 and 31mm in 35mm equvalent).
so anglewise it does not make sense to have both.
I have DP1 and DA21 - different purposes. I use pentax when I need faster AF and can take bigger staff (not a pocket camera).
I bought f100fd fuji for my wife - it has better sensor, smaller size but optically not as good as G11 or X3 - I'm trying to avoid using it as fa as I can use sigma or pentax
