Cool contest, thanks for doing this! I am just finishing up my photography class using my new black K-x, but a red one would be a nice replacement for my black one since I couldn't wait for red to be released...

Follow link in my second post.
I sent a closeup picture of my k-x dial to "Craftygaldecals" and asked her to make me a decal. She mocked one up on paper, sent it to me, I cut it out, taped it to the device, took a picture and sent her my suggestions, she took it from there and made the final product you see in pictures.
Etsy.com is a very cool website to buy handmade things and have items designed for you by budding artists/crafts folks

Hello fellow Pentaxians,
I had a Pentax K-x dial decal designed by "CraftyGalDecals" for my netbook and soon to arrive Ipad. They came out pretty awesome. I figured, why should the Nikon and Canon folks have all the fun with their decals? Here is a pic.

Further info: My K-x with a sigma 10-20 fits nice, but with that lense attached, there is only room for a box of lithiums at the bottom. No other lenses will fit in safely.

Just wanted to add that the price at B&H is $359, then you get a $100 visa card back as rebate, so it's actually $259 in the end

Received my crumpler 3 million dollar home and am happy to report I can fit the kx with both the 18-55 and 55-300 kit lenses in it. If i had one more piece of foam I believe I could fit my 50mm F1.4 in there too, but it would be very tight. I also have room for keys, iphone, lens pen, sd card and a set of spare batteries. Exactly what i was looking for.

will i be able to fit my k-x with 18-55 or 55-300mm lense attached into a crumpler 3mdh?
k-x with 55-300 attached is about 7.5 inches long from viewfinder to end of lense.
I have a slingshot 200 AW which is great for longer trips but am looking for something a bit smaller and less obvious for quick day trips.

i have the 200, and can squeeze my dell mini 9 in it as well as my camera and 2 kit lenses :-)
the 300 was way too big

I got my kx yesterday from B&H, installed lithiums and messed around with camera for quite awhile trying all the settings.
Today I got my 4 precharged eneloops from Amazon.
Turned off camera, put in eneloops, waited 1 minute.
Turned on camera, had half a green battery bar, changed settings to nimh, took a few pictures using live view. Bar went to all green.
Kinda off topic, but i'll mention it anyway, Sams Club has 12 energizer lithiums for $20 right now in store, pretty good deal i thought.
