Hi,
I have a Telesar 135mm f2.8 with mount in picture:
Anybody can tell me what mount it is, and is it possible to mod to P/K mount?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Complete "washing" e-dial today. It works ok now.
Will follow up to ensure the camera really gets rid off the problem.

After unscrewing all screws, I still cannot open the top cover. Seems it is too hard to open it safe.
Could you give some trick to open it??
There are two screws hidden by the view finder cover. After removing it, I can open the top cover.
But now I do not know how to disconnect a flat cable from the slot at the body side... Can you show me how?

I know only M42 lens can be mounted to Pentax with M42-K adapter.
The list may be more, or somebody can mod lens to use with K-mount without an adapter.
Please contribute so that we can extend the range of lens for pentaxian:
1. M42 with M42-K mount

So, my list could be:
- DA* 16-50 f2.8 / DA 17-70 f4 SDM / Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
- DA* 60-250mm F4 / 70-200 f2.8 Tamron
- D FA 100mm f2.8 macro
- DA 40limited, f2.8
- FA 77mm F1.8 Limited len
- and DA 10-17 fisheye
BTW, anybody know this lens: Schneider Kreunach (Samsung) zoom 10-17/3.5-4.5 fishye? It is said same build and quality to the DA 10-17 fisheye. Is that true?

So clear! I am thinking about this lens.
I have bad experience with the focus of Tamron 90mm. Take time and effort to get correct focus. Most of my pic on this lens are out of focus.
You want to kill me with the list? Anyway thanks for nice listing.

How about the strange lens 43mm 1.9? Is the black or white version is better?
Start hunting the lens now and hope report you soon.
Should you suggest a site which compares the IQ of Pentax lens? I need to decide to buy 16-50 or 17-70; or in similar case.

Hi,
I have switched from Canon to Pentax with a K-x. My K-x will arrive on this Christmas.:D
But I have trouble to choose lens list for this nice camera.
Because I am familiar with Canon, so I would like to describe my need in Canon language :) Here is what I want:
- 17-40 L
- 70-200 f2.8 L
- Canon 100mm f2.8 USM and macro accessories
- Portrait: Canon 50mm, f1.4
- Portrait: Canon 85mm, f1.8
Pentax or for Pentax lens are ok. Auto focus is prefer. For macro lens, MF is considerable. The image quality should be at same level.
I do not prefer to use any type of mount converter on my K-x, so please only give the compatible lens
I am so confused with the Pentax terms for lens. So if you can write lens name in full, it will be nice!
Any recommendation, advice are much appreciated!

Hi,
I have switched from Canon to Pentax. I have bought a K-x and got confused with Picture mode and Scene mode of Pentax, while Canon have only 2 groups "manual mode" and "automatic mode"
My question is why pentax have split automatic functions into 2 groups like that, not in one group such as "Auto mode" including all automatic mode of both Picture mode and scene mode?
Anything behind which I cannot see?
