Small prime for general use

Don't forget the Sigma 30/1.4. It is your best bet when light is scarce, and serviceable in bright light. I have the 15, 40 and 35 macro, but the Sigma is the one I turn to most often. It's not "small", but it's quite reasonable in size.

I fully compress the spring and sort of let it shoot out, you got a little bit more card to grip that way.

K-5 pro camera?

I'm a pro - I still use my k20 for real estate and my k5 for events. I am thinking of letting my tank of a k20 go for a k5 IIs, though. It will be hard to say goodbye; I am not sure if there has ever been a better built camera than the k20......

We already have a great AF fast normal prime. It's called the Sigma 30/1.4. I have one and love it. This 35/1.4 is monster size in comparison

Pentax Dust and Weather Sealing in Afghanistan

I was motivated to make this. This video was the second take (it wasn't until after the first take that I realized it would be more effective to use both cameras and 2 lenses at the same time), so the K-5 combo was especially mad at me lol.

The motivation behind this was that a lot of videos show water sealing, but nothing that I could find that really demonstrated the anti-dust protection Pentax provides when you couple a sealed body with a DA* lens.

For those that want the link to actual video, click on the link at the top of the embedded video.

Please feel free to use this video at your leisure - I abused the hell out of my cameras and lenses made it for the Pentax community to promote the outstanding quality of products we cherish everyday. :D

Thanks!

The 1st time I shot this litle blue jewel was last yr.
It was a migratory bird, so it only appeared once a yr, maybe stay for 1-2 months depending if they nest here.
This yr I'm glad to be able to shoot him again. :D
