Now that RAW is supported in Green Mode, I've found it quite useful to use with a DA18-270mm lens as it adjusts the shutter speed to match the focal length so I don't have to thing about camera shake when zooming out to 270mm (it selects 1/320s) & forgetting to select a slower shutter speed when zooming back to 18mm.
However, I'm not so happy with the random way it selects the focus point which is annoying when things in the foreground to focus on.
I thought that P Mode using a program line matched to the lens might replicate this feature but it doesn't.
I can't create a USER Mode from Green Mode but does anyone know of way that I can create a the features of Green Mode but with the added advantage of Selective Focus Point & ability to adjust exposure.
Images below show information for Green Mode & how I would like Green Mode to be with AF Active Area Select.

Because PCs tend to be better supported & are inherently cheaper to purchase.

I bought one for the K5 which, when delivered was just a standard 3" screen, BUT for the reasons that the originator of this post seems to have found with the broken screen protector, I decided that fitting one of these glass screen protectors just wasn't worth the risk.
The whole reason for fitting a screen protector is to protect the screen, BUT when it breaks as they seem to do, you risk damaging the very screen you wanted to protect.
I opted for a Vikuiti™ screen protector ADQC27 for the Pentax K5, which is Crystal-clear, anti-reflective,Hard-coated' Dirt-repellent, simple to apply, residue-free removal & bubble free - most importantly - it DOESN'T break.

As you can see from the attached image, it completely covers the LCD Screen without covering up the Pentax Logo; a second protector is also provided for the top LCD.
