One of my favourite styles. :D
Armed with a K10D + Sigma 10-20 + hyperfocus, I try to frame at the wide end while shooting from the hip, knee, vertically, horizontally, etc. This allows me to crop the final outcome.
Since I have to get real close to my subjects, (1-2m) a quiet shutter would be helpful to avoid suspicion.

I have a habit of constantly changing my PP style to match my mood. This leaves me questioning my choice of PP in the following weeks after it's uploaded.
I've been doing a lot of portraiture for the past few months and was a firm believer of utilizing ambient light only. After some thought, it came to me that I should be the one in control of lighting, especially in unpredictable tropical weather. Decided to pick up strobing this year and I'll see how it turns out...

The YN460 Speedlight is workable on all Pentax DSLR. Do note that it is a fully manual flash which is perfect for a strobist. I have the YN460 Mark II version which was recently released. It is stated to have better quality control as well as finer-tuning flash output. Only have it for a week, so can't comment on any quirks yet.
If you want a TTL, P-TTL flash, (a.k.a auto) look elsewhere.

Another user of the Sigma 10-20mm for portraiture and streets. Distortion can work for or against you. |

Please do. Us Singaporean Pentaxians will welcome you with open arms. :)
I guess it's true when they say that Singapore is a foodie paradise. Don't forget the heart burn medication.

Agreed. I got a 2nd hand FA43 there for cheap.
I stumbled into a small store in the back lanes of Akihabara that carried a whole bunch of old lenses and film bodies. Stuff was piled from floor to ceiling with some vague categorization. Have fun rummaging through all that. Click for larger size
It's on the second floor and is closed on Monday
