You don't have to. One camera can only accept 1 lens at a time unless you stack them... so 5 is still plenty.

And I'm very lucky to have super supportive wife too :)
We made a pact, I'm not gonna ask how many pair of shoes she has and in return she just have to ignore my lenses and DSLR bodies :D

One on each body on 4 different systems (Pentax, Canon, Nikon and Nex) and probably 300 more in air tight boxes. Mind you I've sold over 60 lenses last year. I really need to trim down my collection, it's easier said than done :(

The FA77 is around ~800 used so if you can get the Rokinon/Bower 85/1.4 for less than ~200, I would say go for it. It's a very decent lens for the price.
Perhaps you should rent the FA77 first and see if it fits your needs?

Yeah pretty good deal. Too bad I already have the FA50/1.4 and several other 50/55mm lenses else I'll be all over it.
Great lens!

I'm surprised that none mentionned the K30/f2.8 AKA poor man's FA31. Of course it's MF but the color rendition is simply superb as well as size and build quality.

Did they mention any specific format such TIFF for example? I know in you print in bigger format, it's best to go with TIFF as it's lossless.
Also, make sure they credit you by mentionning your name. I'm assuming they are not paying you anything right?

Get it regardless of the serial number. You can't simply go wrong with that lens.

I got few copies of this lenses on different mounts (M42, Canon and Minolta) and the result is always stunning.
The PK mount is normally hard to find, even on eBay.

I mainly use the Tak 85 for indoor portrait and the hood helped a lot. I have the original hood, not sure if that matters.
The 85/1.8 ihas SMC coating so it's supposed to be a bit better than the 85/1.9. In reality I've never noticed any difference.

Have you tried the Tak 85 with hood on? It's a total new world when shot wide open.

I have all four lenses or five if we count both versions of the Takumars . Each has it own pros and cons and I'm keeping them all. Did I say I have a major LBA issue?
However, if I had to pick one, I would go with the Takumar 85 1.8 because:
1) Build quality
2) Lovely rendering wide open and very sharp at f4
3) M42 mount therefore can be easily mount on other DSLR, especially on FF camera for movies
4) Cheap, well used to be cheap

@adam I'm more interested in the softbox you were using to shoot these. Mind to share which one? :)

I'm not sure if there is any correlation between low-light performance and fewer pixel sensor but one thing it's very clear in my mind is the K100D / K100DS is the best bet for low-light with regard to older Pentax DSLR 6MP bodies. There are a lot of threads that second my opinion.
Besides, the K100D can be found for little as $75-$100 these days so you can't really go wrong with it.

If #1 is accurate then the prototype is already available. Someone must have it by now.
