Yeah right! Yesterday i tried shooting a M9+Noctilux f0.95. No AF ofcourse since neither body or lens supports it. It was IMPOSSIBLE. There was no DOF anywhere to be seen...

Got to play with this little baby at a small convention. To be honest i did not manage to get one single usable picture with it. f0.95 is just out of my league. Taken with my k-x + 35mm and cropped.

Added two pics. Check out the third, thats how I would wear it with the flap over the logo. The flap can also be secured under the strap with the logo.

Olympus - Micro Four Thirds Retro Bag Medium

Fits perfectly for the k-x and a one attached larger prime, such as the DA35.
Will possibly fit (probably) two pancakes, at the bottom and one pancake mounted.

The second picture is supposed to show that it can be placed sideways and still fit great for super easy removal.

Outer size:
Height: 13cm
Width: 21cm
Depth: 10cm

Inner size:
Height: 12cm
Width: 14cm
Depth: 7,5cm

Pentax SMC FA 50mm/F1,4 to buy or not to buy?

I would have to disagree with the previous poster about sharpness. Yes, sharpnss at f1.4 is soft, but that is just what I want it to be. This is a portrait lens at f1.4 and using it as such gives amazing results not possible with sharper lenses.

The following is the first picture i took with my FA50 f1.4. Gives amazing results right away. So dreamy! And remember f1.4 is a full stop faster than f1.7 which gives it another edge in low light.

Took my loverlens to the local plant shop while my beautiful Karin was shopping for plants. And what did I do for those two hours? Took photos ofcourse!

And what lens did i bring? My trusty 50-135 that makes taking great pictures easy as PI. And the camera? My $100 K10D backup-camera.

This lens is pure awesome. And sprinke some photographer on that and we got ourselves some nice pictures!

It is weird how much I like this picture and everyone else tells me its nothing special. So that must mean that all the other 5000 pictures i have on my disk must be pure awesome to others :)?

I find the distortion quite manageable using a quick fix trough PTLens so I would have to argue that its not the worst of problems. But yes, straight out of the camera it is very much noticeable.

Love the site and the pictures, but from where im standing (Sweden), the site is just darn slow. Takes about 10 seconds to load one of the pics which makes the whole thing unbearable.

Something to think about maybe?

For me bandwith is not a problem, as it is for many others in Sweden. The problem is instead the cost of electricity which can escalate to enormous sums if not taken care of.

I run a small linux-host running on an old eee PC using about 10W which is great, so that would have to be my tip.

I want to create a background out of my photo by extending the right border to fill the 1920 pixel width. I have tried using transform, but that gives me weird artefacts and i have tried creating a pattern which did not work with the resolution i wanted.

So can anyone out there help me? I have both Photoshop and Lightroom

Its this picture i want to extend:

Added some more pictures. Took about 500 pictures that night, and about 50 were out of focus, and another 100 were overexposed due to the constant changing lightning on the scene.

Still, very easy to take pictures with this combo, decent AF-speed using AF-C, no miracles but it worked.
