Color shots are great. But I would get closer to the subject. Maybe a nice head shot. I, too, would remove the collar.

DPreview also has discussion forums that provide excellent user input. Personaly, I value it more then official reviews. Reading there Pentax DSLR session and this forum convinced me to by K-x.

Hello to everybody,
I am buying a DSLR camera to complement my Canon G-9 :D
I read tons of reviews and decided to get Pentax K-x. But instead of getting kit lens 18-55/3.5-5.6 I'll take only K-x body and a Tamron lens:
TAMRON 17-50mm XR f/2.8 Di II LENS PENTAX
Since I have no previous experience with anything Pentax, I need your help.
Q1: is that lens compatible with the body?
Q2: is that lens any good?
