As most of you know, the GX10 is the Samsung branded version of the Pentax K10d. Other than very slightly different body styling, it's basically identical.
The biggest different I can think of (other than that it says "Samsung" on it!) is that it only records in DNG raw format, not PEF or DNG like the Pentax models. It has the latest firmware.
I bought this GX10 kit as a backup to my K-X. After the K7 and K-X, I'm spoiled on small cameras! I'm pretty impressed with this camera, actually. Weatherproof, well-made, great viewfinder, a very nice 10 megapixels, just enough and doesn't clog up the hard drive as fast as a 14mp camera. I like the Samsung design, it's a little less Porsche than the K10d, not quite as rounded. It doesn't do automatic dark frame subtraction so astrophotographers prefer it. I have not seen any "high ISO banding" in my photographs with this camera, which is a relief!
This camera has 9,500 shots on it according to exif readings. It's in great shape. I can't find any flaws save a few faint scratches on back lcd, the "worst" of which isn't even on the LCD area, but on the black frame around it.
It has the original battery and charger, as well as two brand-new OEM batteries. One of them is still wrapped.
I will include a 1 gig SD card that has a little file on it called "modset". When you start the camera with card door open (with this card inserted) it will bring you right into "debug mode" which will allow you to adjust the focus. There are a few threads on this forum about focus adjustment on the K10d, this is the same thing. When you're done, turn the camera off, close the door, and start again, debug mode is off. It's awesome!
This kit comes with the Samsung version of the Pentax 18-55mm kit lens. It's quite sharp. Basically identical, except the Samsung coatings are blue, which match the ring around the lens. It's a metal-mount lens, not a "light" version.
I will also include the original Samsung strap. I don't have any documentation on this camera, but you can download most of what you would need, and honestly, I didn't need anything. I can point you to a pdf of the manual if needed. It also doesn't have a USB cord. I can provide either a USB cord OR a small SD card reader, your choice.

I've used the program fatso83 is talking about. Works like a charm, very easy to use! And it's always on the card. It's almost possible to change the values "on the fly". (This was on a GX-10 btw)

I just went through the same process, kinda. I needed a backup for my k-x, which I decided was better for me than the K7 because of the size and high-iso quality. I choose a k10d (well, actually, a gx-10...the price was right). You can adjust the focus on that by going into debug mode, there are instructions on this forum to do that. Only one lens, but I figure my backup camera would only need one lens on it anyway as it's only for emergencies. I'll probably calibrate it for me 24-60mm and see if it works well with the 30mm and 14mm.
I just got the GX-10 today. It's big! Compared to a K7 and to the K-X. But it handles nicely. My goal was to have something to fall back on in emergencies, and I also wanted a weather proof body to use as a beater in the elements. And my last goal was to spend as little as possible!

I have two "kit" lenses for sale, both of them in excellent condition, and both are nice, sharp copies. I just bought a GX-10 as a backup camera and it's coming with the same lenses with the Samsung label and I really don't need another set!
These are the very nicely made DA lenses, not the plastic mounted "light" lenses sold on the entry-level bodies. Actually, I have an 18-50 DA-L lens too, $30 shipped!
I've used a LOT of kit lenses, including those from Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony...the Pentax ones are special in my mind. Small, well-made, with the great full-time manual focus mechanism. The 50-200mm is a great lens, quite sharp and I agree with those that think it's the bargain of the day.
Both lenses come with front/back caps and hoods. The 50-200mm has its original box.

I'd like to see more proof of the firmware upgrade's effect on other K-7 models. The comparative images thus far posted are really not convincing or dramatic. I think I see a different grain structure in the later-firmware images, then I look again and think I don't.
CW, not discounting at all what you are seeing, I just want to see it replicated in other cameras. In other words, we need a higher N here to make a conclusion.
That said, I hope it's true. The K-7 is wonderful. More wonderful is always welcome!

This choice is killing me. I love the K7. It's everything I've ever wanted in a digital camera. It's just that since I got a K-X, I've barely picked the K7 up. And the K-X was meant to be the "back-up body". I'm moving the K-X up to the first line and will get another body for back-up.
The camera: very good to excellent condition. A very slight scuff to the rear LCD, I could not photograph it. Other than that, I can't find much else to say. It has about 5000 actuations according to the file numbering. It was purchased late last year from Amazon so is still under warranty. It comes in the original box (upc cut out for the rebate). It does not include the WR kit lens (sold that). Comes with all accessories and 2 extra oem batteries. Original documentation including receipt.
I can throw in a non-WR DA 18-55mm lens (the middle of the line, not WR, but not the plastic-mount DA-Light for a little extra.
Body and accessories only: $800
Body, accessories and kit lens; $850.
Paypal preferred. At this point I'd like to sell this to a US buyer. I just had a package of lenses going to Russia completely disappear off the face of the earth, including having the EMS tracking numbers disappear from the international tracking system, so I'm a bit shy about anything other than Canada.

This is a great 21mm DA lens, with both caps, hood, pouchette and original box. Everything but the box is in excellent condition (the box is a little tattered on the corners).
The 21 is a sweet lens, especially on the k-x, which makes the whole thing just tiny. It's also sharp, with nice bokeh and rendition. I really like the lens, and I'd never give it up if I didn't absolutely need to have a stable of very fast lenses for my restaurant photography. I bought a set of DA primes this month to see if they'd work for extreme low-light work and they don't for me. For an everyday lens, however, I can't think of a more perfect lens than the 21.
Not much else more to say. It's a superb little gem.
I reserve the right not to sell this lens in certain countries that I've had bad shipping experiences from. I'm most comfortable with shipping to Canada.

I had a similar thread going a while back. My usage is quite similar to yours, except that I shoot the restaurant in action, ie, full, with focus on the people. Still, I wanted a wide angle to be able to take as much of it in as possible and have the best chance of stopping the action, or at least, reducing motion blur.
I opted for the 14/2.8
DOF is not such an issue at such wide angles, it's not at all like shooting a 50/1.4. Combination of wide angle and the fact that 2.8 is not THAT fast.
I haven't done a shoot with the 14 yet, but my tests inside at home and in other interior locations suggest it will work really well. I'd seriously consider that lens.
