K10D at Best Buy Outlet..would you buy?

Thanks all for the information. I am leaning towards the K10D or possibly the K20D for the ergonomics and WR body. I'm just a little reluctant to dive into a refurb K10D because I don't want to get the camera and then have to turn around and return it to Pentax for repairs due to focusing issues, but I guess nothing is 100% sure when you buy a refurbed camera.

Thanks again to all!

Would you buy a Factory Refurbished K10D from Best Buy Outlet for $379.00?

I'm looking into the K10D due to some of the more "pro" features such as direct access buttons and the great WR feature plus the price is very attractive. However, I can save just a bit more money and get into the Kx with the better IQ over the K10D but sacrifice some features...oh the decisions to ponder in life!

What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

PxPaulx...you make a good argument. I think I could live with the limited direct controls on the K-x but in the back of my mind I'm always wondering..."what if"...

One question for you, what has your experience been with the white K-x? Is it difficult to be inconspicuous with the white color?

So I'm in the shopping (researching till I can't read anymore forums cause my head is going to explode) mode and I'm currently looking at two different cameras for a number of reasons. The first being $ and the second functionality. I'm leaning towards the K-x right now because after all I've read it appears to be a very good camera for the price and will more than suite my needs right now, plus it is the newest product in Pentax's line up and gives me a warranty. However, I'm wondering as I get more involved from moving from film to digital will I need a camera more robust (i.e.-weathersealing, more external options on camera.. etc.)?

So my dilemma at this point is to look at the K10D on BB Outlet (factory refurb) at a great price $379 w/o lens or get K-x kits for roughly $500 depending on who I buy it from and which discounts are available? The only thing I can see as a disadvantage with the K10D is I would have to buy a lens...

What are your thoughts? Any recommendations from someone who has both cameras and can give some insight to a budget shopper!!

Thanks in advance.

I'm looking at diving into the DSLR relm from film. I'm money strapped right and looking into either Pentax or Nikon. I'm leaning towards Pentax because I really like the feel and ergonomics of the cameras.

I've seen ist DS cams on KEH for roughly $250.00. Is this a worth while purchase or should I save some more pennies and look at something newer?

Would you buy older and used ist DS?

Thanks in advance
