I already have many pentax and third party lenses but the normal Angle (50mm on Fullframe= ca. 30-35 on APS-C) was still missing - till now. 3 days my new 35/2.4 arrived and what can i say: its cheap, its lightweight - its plastic, but (imho) its fantastic! Very good sharpness, open a few CAs and a very nice bokeh for round about 200,- EUR, in my eyes the FA50/1.7 killer, which focal lenght is a bit too long for me on aps-c.
For Portraits or Reportage its a good choice i think. Together with the k-x or the k200 its a very lightweight combination.

I want to say "hi" to all Pentax Loving photographers. I am using Pentax since 1988 (Pentax ME Super) and switched after a short break (>10 Years) to the Pentax DSLRs. Actual i call mine a K100Ds, a K20D and a k-x.
maybe iŽam known to someone as "Phishkopp", a Pentax-moderator of the DSLR-forum.de.
If you mind to, look at my new blog: rehbach.eu | Sichtweisen (german), all pictures shot with pentax equipment (except a few third party lenses).
