This was my first lens upgrade after 18-55mm and 50-200mm.... and boy, is this thing sharp!
From f/2.8 and on... the sharpness and clarity is unbelievable. This is like my wonder lens. It's small, light, yet it delivers! I whip it out when in doubt, and this thing really proves itself.
I've gotten DA 12-24 and Tamron 28-75mm afterwards, but they simply aren't as good as the 43mm. (Of course, I shouldn't be comparing a prime lens to zoom lenses in different focal lengths, but just saying...)
I'm planning to get the DA*50-135, and may be DFA 100mm Macro WR... MAY BE FA 31 Ltd (then I may have to part with the 43mm)
Anyone else in love with this lens?

Hello all!
So earlier this year, I bought a high-end P&S camera, thinking DSLRs were for "pros" and I wouldnt need it to fill my needs,
well, as I shot more and more pictures with that camera, more and more I realized that it didn't do what I wanted it to do. That's when I realized I needed a DSLR. (my close friends are photographers, so they recommended me to get a dslr.)
After looking into the entry models, I wasn't too sold or moved by what were offered by Canon and Nikon. Then, I saw the release of K-x few days later. Since I'm a big fan of the color red, I decided to go with that one.
I waited until K-x was into some reviewers' hands, and I waited for their reviews.. I was sold on the low noise at high sensitivity.
So here I am, with the red K-x. Hello!
