Exposure time and camera

Do exposure times vary according to camera make? Using my pentax k2000, using f2 lens at f2, I always get exposure time greater than 1 sec for indoor shots with ISO < =200.Even with ISO bumped to 800, I can never go over 1/20. Wonder if the GXR is a great low light performer. Eg:-

So, using the same lens at the same aperture, same light conditions, do exposure time vary for different cameras?

I too bought a rikenon XR 50mm f2 after reading on net that it takes very sharp photos. But found out it is not better than the pentax M 50mm f2. In fact, the pentax one is slightly better than rikenon.

Humidity is a big issue. My 18-55 and 50-200 kit lenses have fungus now. Take them out frequently and take photos to avoid this.

I have a couple of silica gels within the bag. Are they causing the lubricant leaking?

Whenever I take my helios lens out after keeping it in the bag for a week or two, there is a liquid substance on the lens focussing ring. Is this oil leak? If yes, how can I prevent it. Will this affect the lens in the long run? I live in a place where the climate is very humid. Can this be moisture?

On my K2000, I have to set it to "flash on". Then flash will pop-up only if I hit the flash button.

You are right.I guess I messed with the apertures. It was working fine when I tested yesterday in manual mode.

Do you find it a little tough to mount this lens to the camera? I have to apply a lot of pressure to turn this into the mount.

ISO 200 for both pics. Aperture f2 used for both pics. Will upload pic with exif data somewhere else once I reach home. The forum here seems to strip out the exif data.

Please see the two images below. First one in Av mode 1/6 sec exposure, second one in M mode, 1.5 secs exposure calculated by pressing the +/- button. Why is the second image darker than the first even though it had a longer exposure? Both taken at aperture f2. I tried this again and the same thing happens, in manual mode the image is darker even though it has longer exposure. When I use a helios m42 lens, the same thing happens, the exposure is always above one second when pressing the +/- button, so all the images come out blurry. Are we not supposed to use the +/- button in k2000? Or am I doing something wrong?
