Just go on B&H or Adorama and see what they have for film.
Grab a bunch of Kodak Gold 100 36exp. Should be great for the colors at Disney.
Maybe grab some of that Kodak BW400cn film for B&W that you can have developed
at a local store along with your color film.

I love Reala and it is a damn shame that it is being discontinued. I have a small stock of it
in the freezer and am tempted to see what I can find and load up on it.
I bought about 100 rolls of Kodak 400UC before they discontinued that one. Glad I did as I love
that film.

I like the flipped scan better as well. Just flip it in Photoshop and you are set.
I'll have to try some upside down film scanning as well to see what I get using the Coolscan and
Nikon software.

Very cool shot. It is fun to use old cameras sometimes.
I bought a few Kodak Instamatic 500 cameras this year and have been loading the
126 cartridges with 35m film. Still trying to get it 100% but have had some luck.

I only shot Kodachrome once. Bought a roll in 2003 and tried it out. At the time I had the Minolta Scan Elite II and it didn't do very well with the film so I didn't shoot it again.
Had a few shots scan OK.

Those shots look great from the 18-35. I just bought a new one on eBay this morning. I hope
to get it before I head out to Sweden next week and then I'll take the *ist, 18-35 and Sigma 28-300DG with me.

EPSON V700 review
The Epson V700 did well in the above review. I have been tempted to pick up an Epson
for my MF scans, but just have not gotten around to it.
I was able to get my Nikon Coolscan V to work with Vista 64 so I use that now to scan my
35mm. I had a Minolta Dual scan Elite or something like that many years ago and used the heck out of it, but I really liked the Coolscan V much better when I finally bought it.
If you get the V700 show it off so we can see some real world results.

Yup. 110 is getting harder to find. I find it once in awhile in the local drug stores, but expensive.
Rip and reload it probably with way to go. I have to do that with my 126 cartridges and 35mm film.
I picked up a couple of Kodak 500 and 104 instamatics. Still trying to get things dialed in on the
reloading, but have had a couple of good frames.

I like Gold 100...have a whole bag of it in the freezer, stocked up when Wegman's was getting rid of it for like $.75/roll.
We had a plow day on Sat and I shot with Gold 100 and 400UC.
Nasty winds of over 50mph, but the rain missed us. |

Looks good to me.
I just shot a roll today along with 3 rolls of 400UC and a
garden tractor Plow Day. Should be scanning them tonight.

Finally I was able to find a *ist and grip. I have the strap on the way. Now to get a couple more lenses. I was looking at the 18-35 matching kit lens for it. Want to keep it small for travel. |

Has anyone picked up the new I-10 and gotten to use it? Would be interested in you thoughts.
I was thinking of getting one for the pocket when I don't want to carry my DSLR/SLR, TLR, Instamatics, etc...
:p

Craig Ferguson said one night that Canada is like the polite neighbor upstairs and the US is the noisy one downstairs.
How could I forget about Rush and Triumph, Kim Mitchell, Melissa, Billy Vann and the Party Game, Habs and the Leafs...all good stuff.

Still have yet to watch BSG..need to collect all of the DVDs first and have a marathon or two.
Firefly cast...Jewel Staite and Nathon Fillion...couple of great Canadians.
Lived in Lockport NY growing up was exposed to a lot of Canadia, went there all the time as it was a short 20 minute trip and watched more Canadian TV than US as I got better reception from Canada than I did from Buffalo. Who can forget the Hilarious House of Frightenstein and the Uncle Bobby show? ;-)
Best import...Labatt's Blue. :-)

That is all I was shooting. I have had many Minolta bodies...7xi, 9xi, 650si, 700si, 7000, 5000, 70, 7, but currently I only have my Maxxum 9, Maxxum 5 and the X700.
This summer I went to Valencia Spain and Budapest armed only with my Maxxum 7, 20/2.8, 24-105 and about 20 rolls of film. Good times.

Hey Guys,
Stumbled upon your forum here while reading the Pentax forum at dpreview. Glad to see a community like this for Pentax.
Primarily I am a Sony/Minolta shooter with the A700 and Maxxum 9, but yesterday I ordered up a White K-x as it it was cheap on Amazon and work gave me a nice gift cert for Amazon so it made it very appealing. I also was impressed with the high ISO and video capabilities I saw on the dpreview review of the K-x.
Can't wait to get it next week and start shooting.
