asaru makes a really good point here. Balance makes handling a camera more enjoyable.
That said . . . that SMC 135/2.5 (also a K-series lens) might feel even better to you, though it is bigger and heavier than the f/3.5 version. The fact that it's faster is a plus, but it's also sharper. It truly is a great lens.
It'd be great if you could actually mount these on your camera to see what feels best to you. Not just the size and weight, but also the feel of the focus rings, which for me makes a huge difference.
Good luck!

Welcome to the Pentax film world, Jeremias!
The third 135, the SMC Pentax 135 f/3.5, is probably a "K" series lens, which will be longer than the M series and weigh about 95 grams more. The M 135/3.5 is compact and probably easier to carry. Some folks like bigger lenses, so which one feels best to you is something you should check out in person. Both should be good lenses.
The SMC Pentax 135 f/2.5 is a superb lens; I use mine for concert photography, and it's sharp, very sharp, even wide open. BUT . . . it's a lot bigger and heavier than the M 135 f/3.5. I sold my M 135/3.5, but I have an M 120/2.8 I use when I don't want to carry the 135/2.5.
Another great lens is the M 100/2.8, though they're harder to find than the 135/3.5, most likely. The 100mm focal length is great for portraits, though it's good for so many other things, too.
There are SO many very good and great manual Pentax lenses out there for not much money. On the other hand, there are some you'd wind up paying a premium for since they're less common or superb. (For instance, the SMC Pentax 28mm f/2.0 based on a Zeiss lens; I've never seen one in person, but I've read it's great--but it's big, heavy, and EXPENSIVE. I was happy to find an SMC M 28 f/2.0 for about a third what the other one costs, and I'm really happy with it.)
I'm not a motorcyclist, though after watching the *Super Cub* anime, I sure would like to get one of those Hondas! They'd be more my speed than something bigger.
And . . . I'm also a guitarist, mostly acoustic, these days playing Eastman archtops (AR604ce, ER0, and an ER2). I probably don't deserve to own any of them, but they fit my music well, especially the AR604 with its floating humbucker.
Anyway . . . welcome to the forum, and have fun with film!

Thanks, regisr! It's an odd photo, perhaps, for "best of year," but I'm glad you like it!

A green thought in a green shade. . . .
Tranquil may be an understatement.

The figure in the distance intrigues me; it makes the unusual even more so.

Yes, sometimes random is a good thing. Not always, but . . . sometimes. :-)

I love the different perspective in this photo. Shooting star trails through a derelict roof . . . brilliant! I can see three faint meteor trails too (though I suppose they could be satellites). Nominated
