What you're describing, using a 35mm system lens on a medium format camera, isn't practical. If a physical adapter was available or custom machined you wouldn't be able to focus to infinity--there is more distance between the 645 mount and sensor than there is with a 35mm system.
Going th other way works--a quick search shows that using Hasselblad V lenses on the 645d/z is possible, and of course Pentax 67 lenses as well.

If you've got the cash, it's your full-frame digital Pentax for the moment.

^ The K-30 has the exact same shake reduction system as the K-5. Only the standards in measuring it have changed.

CIPA changed the standards in advertising shake reduction--it's the same system as the K-5.

Just sitting right next to him.
if you looked at my gallery earlier and saw some duplicate shots, I fixed those. Smugmug uploader has been finicky as of late--it also missed 8 shots that are now up as well.

You think that's crazy? Take a look at this:
I plan on giving the K-30 the same treatment this evening. Review should be up next week.

Good point--but I'd wonder about performance, considering the size of the sensor... what does that make a 50mm? [Google] 280mm! Would be interesting in seeing the results with something like the Summarit, which is not a particularly sharp lens at wider apertures.
Re: fitting 110 lenses on the K-01. I have an 18mm Auto-110 lens that I use on a Sony NEX body. Corners are soft with some light falloff, but I am pleasantly surprised by the results every time I shoot with it. Not possible to adapt it to the K-01 and focus to infinity. However, if you do want to go the legacy lens route with that body, old Nikkors might be possible, and if you swap the mount out, Leica R glass would work as well--Leitax.com has all the info on the latter.
And, of course, old K-mount glass works quite nicely. I enjoyed using the Pentax 28mm f/3.5 on the K-01 for the time that I had the camera.

If you manage to adapt the lens you bought to fit a K-mount, it will not focus to infinity. Trust me, I owned this particular lens for a few months, and have extensive experience shooting both Leica rangefinders and Pentax SLRs. You can mount it with an adapter to a Sony NEX, Samsung NX, Micro Four Thirds, or Leica M8/M9 digital camera--but it is not something you can use as a normal lens with the K-01.

The K-01 is a review loaner. The cameras have to go back after the reviews are finished, although sometimes that doesn't have to be for a month or two--depends on how hot the camera is and how many review samples there are to go around. I was very pleased to get the K-01 this early--sometimes the wait can be weeks or months. Do plan on shooting with it as much as possible over the next couple weeks, and plan on giving it a workout with the K 28mm f/3.5 and K 85mm f/1.8--but I do miss having an eye-level finder.
I only have two digitals that are my own right now--a Sony NEX-5N and a Leica M8. But I've got more film gear than I can shake a stick at--four Pentax KX bodies, an old Rollei, Hassy 500C, Leica M3 and CL, a few Mamiya TLRs, and--just for good measure, a Diana F+. ;)

If you're shooting primes, one solution is to buy a shoe-mount optical finder of approximate equivalent field of view -- e.g., a 60mm finder for use with the 40mm lens, a 21mm if you've got the 15mm mounted. It won't be 100% accurate for framing, but it'll be close. This assumes that you're using AF lenses and that you trust the K-01's autofocus. These are a popular accessory for rangefinder cameras and wide-angle lenses--so it can be tough to find them for longer focal lengths. Voigtlander makes a variable focal length version that covers 15-35mm, and that sells for $500+. The 60mm might be hard to find--the only RF lens I can think of is the somewhat rare Konica Hexanon 60mm f/1.2.
I've only had the K-01 in my hands for a couple hours--did some street shooting in NYC this afternoon (was very bright) and the LCD was a bit tough to work with. It does brighten up quite a bit when you touch the shutter halfway to focus, but before that I was fighting glare.

No--it means that the D800 can focus with a lens with a maximum aperture of f/8, whereas the 5D is limited to lens with f/4 maximum. Focusing is performed wide open--the camera stops the lens down to the desired aperture as the shot is taken.
Basically, it's a telephoto thing--if you've got a 300mm f/4 lens and put a 2x teleconverter on it, you've essentially got a 600mm f/8 lens--the D800 can autofocus in that situation, although I believe the number of AF points is greatly reduced. The 5D can't handle it, leaving you to focus manually.

Shot these last night with the K 85mm f/1.8 on the Sony NEX-5N. (Flare on the last photo is from catching someone else's flash. I think it works well with the shot.) |

85mm soft is sold. Going to close this listing out -- no interest in the Takumar or the Summicron. PM me if you are interested in the future. Might relist them if I sell any other Pentax gear.
