That would be sweet! I'd love to see a shot of the whole rig set up (from another camera, of course!)
Well done!

Does anyone know if there's a setting to lock the mirror up, to keep the movement of the camera to a minimum when shooting images like this ?

Beautiful shot! I have a '66 Mustang myself.. 73k original miles and rust-free! :)
I like the plate too... "adiktd = addicted"

Thanks! The lens used was a 300mm f5.5, with two (stacked) 2x converter lenses, tripod-mounted with 2-sec delay.. Gets me pretty close!
I agree with what you said about the watermark.. it would've been nice balance to put that on the other side, I just have a pre-made frame and didn't think of that. I'm glad you like it, though!

Nice shots Nate.. I especially like the one with the helicopter in the upper left. :)
On a completely unrelated note, how did this make it to print? - "Jeremy Rasnake fell a sleep at the wheal of his Bronco."
Congrats on the shots!

Hi all, these are my original shots, and they've since been worked on.. I had another thread (linked in the OP), where I got a lot of pointers on how to best fix them. Here's a two of the corrected ones - one action, one between. They were "auto-color" fixed in PS, and were originally that red-magenta tint seen in the first post.
Action:

Must be a GSD thing! My dog LOVES big branches.. even if she can't pick it up she'll drag the whole thing around the yard..
Here's her last night when I was up late studying. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't sleeping yet. :) |

Yeah.. I was also shooting ISO200, I probably should've upped that a bit, just didn't think (still learning). You definitely need a faster shot that 1/350 to stop that fastball :)

Thanks, Nathan. :) I'm happy with them too. I started towards the end doing just that, focusing on a point and waiting for some action.. worked out well at first! Not as easy when I was following a runner (especially one as fast as J-Roll ;))
